Leo had given the situation some serious thought for several days now, which is something that he doesn't do very often. He had been getting back into the music business for some time, taking some gigs and mainly playing a lot on his own. But he did miss having a band, since it did create a great atmosphere for him to work in. He could also confess to himself that he did miss the others, but that would be to admit that he wasn't completely happy with his life. And to be honest; it did make him feel better, to let himself think that he was happy. Though, there was still that nagging little thought of getting the band back together again, at least for a joke. He didn't know where Baz was at and did feel a bit strange when he was around. It made him miss being human, since Baz treated him different back then. Jean did so as well, but he some how felt better when she was around. Though he could never say why. Therefore he had worked out as much of a plan, that he at least knew that he wanted to see her and talk about a reunion.
He hummed Vast's song "Tatoo of your name across my soul" as he walked down the street on his way to her apartment. Slight flashbacks of his last visit came across his mind but he waved them off. It had hurt him to see her as a drug user, but he tried to tell him self that it was none of his business. From now on they should simply be musicians, If she wanted to be in the band, that is.
With a sigh he stopped outside the house and drew a deep breath. Well aware that it wouldn't affect him much, but the calming placebo effect still made it's mark on him and he smiled. The thought of climbing in thru her window played in his mind, but it wouldn't make her happy to see him, he thought. Though he always loved to make a cool entry, damn. But the door would have to do for today, he thought and stroked the handle. It was dirty with the grease from too many hands, humans. He looked at his own hand for a while, wondering whether he still produced fingerprints or not. The fact that he must still have that ability made him smile, it meant that he wasn't completely erased from the face of the earth quite yet. Still alive.

Jean was having an unusually slow night and in fact actually enjoyed it in her own melancholic way. She hadn't felt like going out with the others, she'd just been quite nostalgic as of late and she knew why, after all, it wasn't very hard to figure it out. As a result, she had ended up in the couch all evening with take out and her bass. It simply had been a long time since she saw a picture of herself in a magazine, and it brought back some memories, memories that could only be appropriately treated by playing music or seeing some of her old friends. She decided that the sooner was just going to be a heck of a lot easier.
Expecting no one but her roommate to just come walking in, Jean didn't as much as look up from what she was doing as the door opened. "Why home so early, did you lose your charm?" She asked in a casual manner while leaning back towards the arm rest.

Leo did from the start have the intention of giving her a decent "Hello", but since he heard her play, he didn't want to disturb her. He stood there for a short while and just listened. She hadn't lost her touch... he smiled. He question almost woke him up, reminding him why he was there. It didn't take long for him to realize that she had mistaken him for somebody else, he hadn't thought much about why she hadn't even looked at him yet. "I never loose my charm, Jean, you know that" he smiled and leaned against the hallway wall, in is general relaxed manner. One of his hands removed the dreads from getting squashed against the wall. "Nice to see that you're still playing. How have you been otherwise?" He said as politely as he could.

She sort of lost her focus right there, resulting in the instrument (or rather the amplifier) giving of a rather unpleasant noise. "Holy shit. You could have knocked." Deciding against continuing to play, she stopped and leaned the bass guitar against the nearby table. "I don't see why I'd stop really. And you know, same old." She gave him a suspicious glance, but then deserved that he hadn't actually tried to bust her head the like, last three times they met, so he probably decided the benefit of doubt. "So I'm assuming you read the article too?"

Leo couldn't help but smile a bit, since it seemed like he had gotten his cool entré after all. "I'm sorry, I heard you playing and got sort of mezmericed" that same old cheesy smirk played out on his lips and he looked at her for a short while. "same old" was a good description, not much seemed to have changed. Leo hadn't really thought of how long ago it was since they met last time, but it couldn't have been that long. She still looked good so his fear of her growing old and dying seemed far away. "Yes, I did, a bunch of times actually. I've thought a bit about it and well... I wanted to ask you about your thoughts before doing anything. Because honestly...I...well...the band wouldn't be the same without you." That last confession felt a bit difficult to put down in words but he gave it a go anyways. It was the truth, sort of... He didn't know actually.

"You don't have to exaggerate. My own damn fault for not getting up and locking the door anyway." Even though she said it, she seemed to have no plans on actually doing so still. She just wasn't that afraid of strangers walking straight into her home. To be honest it had only happened once anyway, and it hadn't been too intimidating to see the neighbor's visitor take the wrong door and get really embarrassed.
"I thought the plan was to start a new band? Don't tell me you're actually auditioning?" The thought was actually very amusing. "To be honest I don't see why he doesn't just do what he did with us, go and steal them from other bands."

He looked rather amused at her excuse and didn't quite believe it. Some part of him thought that she was still scared of what he had done, both to her and others. Though that was a long time ago now and perhaps she had forgiven him. "I know, I know, but what the hey, we had a good band! And well, he actually discovered me when I was pretty fresh, so he didn't steal me from anybody but my mom really. But yeh, I'm thinking of going there and blast their brains out with some nice riffs. How about you?" He snickered a bit and looked at her with a playful smile, more or less begging for a yes.

She wanted to say something cold and disrespecting about him and the entire band, but to be completely honest, she really couldn't. She was getting soft. Damnit. "I don't know Leo, if Baz wanted us back, don't you think he would've given us a call?" She paused, reaching for the magazine that was actually laying there right next to her dinner. "I know that I'm sure as hell not going to audition, he knows how I play." And there the attitude came back.

Leo made a bit of a face as he thought about it, not really wanting to acknowledge the thought. "Yeh, but I mean... He doesn't know that we want to come back...soo.." He looked at the magz and sat down beside her, though not close enough for their bodies to touch. He focused on the add and read it as so many times before. "Though, I think it would be sort of fun to surprise him. I mean the worst thing that can happen is that he says no. Then it's just a fun joke" He smiled and looked up at Jean. "Come on, let's make that old fag vampire bust his pants"

"To be honest, I'm still not sure I want to go back." She passed him the magazine and leaned back. "Would be to have a proper income again." She looked like she was thinking it over, and she was, she wasn't sure she truly wanted to go back, it was a part of her life she'd left behind. Going back and digging around your past was seldom a good idea. But her economy had seriously took a giant step downhill lately. She should probably have used her savings in a better way, but she couldn't be arsed to care. "And I'd still be going there with Fag Vampire the Younger." She looked over at him with a smirk.

Leo sighed a bit and stroked his hair back as she leaned back. "I've thought of that too, but I mean, what's so bad about trying? We can always quit if we don't like it and well... I've been looking around and I can't find any better option. Plus, we did have some good times, right?" He tilted his head and peered thru the hair that fell in front of his eyes, then smiled, awaiting her answer. When she had to mention his...tendencies... he bit his tongue, like she had stepped on his toes and made a slight noise. "...youuuu...little..." then he just smiled, since he had missed this, quite a bit. "Let's go out and get you some beer, that usually clears your head" He said and rose from the sofa.

It seemed like something that shouldn't be done, trying to steal the spot of some young fan and then drop out. But hey, that was Baz problem, right? "We'll see, Leo. I have to say I'm a bit hurt that he's replacing us." Okay, maybe not.
She had planned to stay in, but... "Beer usually clouds my head, that's why I like it. But I suppose you will be less likely to freak out in a public place anyway." Jean continued her teasing manner while getting up to get ready.

Leo was actually taken a bit by surprise and looked at her almost doubtingly. "Well ehm... as I said, he doesn't know that we want to come back. We were the once that left... remember? Or at least.. I left.. I think... those memories are quite abstract to me.." He bit his lip slightly and hoped that he wouldn't have to talk about it. It was after all those happenings that made it all fall apart. "Really? I always thought beer made you smarter! And considering how strange some people behave in bars and clubs... I would consider my self normal" He laughed a bit at his own jokes and smiled while walking to the door. "Ladies first" He added as she became ready to leave.

"I don't know, as far as I got it you left soon after I did. Since Ice wasn't in that article I'm assuming he followed suit. Truly must have bruised Baz's ego when we dropped out one after one." She answered as she went into her room, got her jacket and some things she'd most likely come to need and then came out. "I just seemed smarter because you couldn't handle your liquor." She decided to ignore the lady-comment and just walk out, waiting for him to come after so that she could lock the door. Darren would kill her if she got his shit stolen.

Leo nodded but thought that perhaps Baz would have understood due to the circumstances. But since he didn't feel like mentioning them he left out the comment and just waited by the door with a thoughtful face. "Tsss, I could handle it just fine. Plus, I don't really need it to have fun." He was more or less motioning to the fact that he used to be sober when rehearsing and other times as well, when they had their good times. But the fact that he wasn't able to feel that same old fog did bother him. He had tried feeding of drunk people, but it didn't seem to work the way that he wanted it to. It truly had felt odd to become sober in such a strange way.
