Leo looked up at the place that Jean had chosen and didn't make much of a remark on it. It was a bar, like many others. He then continued the conversation with a loosely pointed finger at Jean. "Yeh, well rather fruity than moldy" he just said, as if it was something extremely clever to say. He then looked at her handling of the sunglasses as they walked into the place. "So, you need sunglasses to protect you from the streetlights but not from the indoors? Or are you planning to flirt with the bartender?" He smiled a bit and remembered that he was supposed to pay for her beer, but on the other hand perhaps she had forgotten? Leo had at least forgotten about her tips on how he could convince her to come with him to the audition. There was never really an effort made to remember that part of the conversation. He wanted things to flow naturally. Forcing wasn't his kind of thing, though he really wanted her to come with him.

"I'm getting that old, am I? I suppose you are only as old as you feel." And she was feeling closer to fifty than twenty. She blamed Leo. "It's also not so much that I need protection from the street lights as me wanting to avoid bruised shins once we get into the bar." Pocketing said sunglasses she pushed open the door into the place while speaking. "Bars aren't exactly known to be well lit."

Leo hadn't really thought of it in the way that she caught the idea, but it didn't matter really. It was an interesting way to put it and she didn't seem to disturbed by him calling her old and other insinuations. "Well, you do look better now than your did last time we met... And yes, it's all in the head really. Though your head seems rater worn out"... He said the last sentence with a bit of precaution, even though there wasn't much to fear. On her remark of the bar and her glasses he merely shrugged. The fact that she didn't respond to his joke occupied his mind more than her words, but he didn't make a big deal of it. Instead he walked in and looked around. Slightly wondering how many times these people had seen Jean before, considering that this was probably one of her local places. He felt curious of asking the bartender what she had been up to while he'd been away. Though asking her would probably seem a bit more... sane. He looked at her with a smirk and threw a line at her. "Do you come here often?"

"Worn out? I thought you said I looked better. You never could make up your mind though, could you?" She gave the guy behind the bar a nod, proving Leo right in his suspicions. Making sure he was getting her a bear, she also seemed to tell the stranger that Leo would be taking care of the tab tonight. Reacting to his last line, she did however give her friend the attention he wanted soon after. "If you were planning on hitting on my, why even leave my apartment?" Apparently, she wasn't really serious.

Leo made a bit of a face at her, and perhaps at himself also, for using such similar expressions. "I was merely pointing out that you look good on the outside, but you seem mentally worn down." he said it with a smirk but was once again a little bit afraid of hurting her, but come on, who can hurt Jean? He then laughed a bit at her remark. "Well, from what I know, most girls don't like when you stalk them to their door and then flirt with them. Soooo I thought I'd get you drunk so that you wont remember that part and then flirt with you..." He smiled and gave her a wink. Though also realizing the lack in the "plan" since he was flirting with her before she was drunk. But what ever.

"Because you're completely present all the time." She said with a smirk. "Well, as you might have noticed, you're paying for my beer and so your plan seems to work wonderfully. Must say I like your way of doing things."

Leo rolled his eyes every so slightly at her comment, slightly reminded of that twilight movie, that unfortunately had made a new image of him. He then shook it off and looked smiled again. "So you're letting me pass just like that, just beer, no whiskey?" He then added with vengeance. "I think that sounds like a good start for our happily every after" Not that he thought he'd have any chance with Jean. He was pretty much totally screwed, in the non-sexual way. One might also add that he didn't think she'd ever settle down, with anyone.

"Don't be that way, since you don't have to pay for food or drinks anymore, you should have plenty of cash left in your reserves." And so she smiled, took the glass that was handed to her and went to sit down.

Leo made a slight face at her and payed for the beer, to the catch up with her. "There are more things to pay for in life, you know. Plus, where am I supposed to get money from. Signing autographs?" Not that he had to do that alot but what ever. Though people had tried to pay for sex with him. "Or perhaps you think I'm a whore now days?" He added, mostly just venting his thoughts with a slight smile but also and undertone of disgust, because it was beyond him to do such things.

"Woa, where did that come from? Now I have to think that is where you get it from." Mm, beer. Jean actually looked quite pleased with her situation there for a second or two - was a long time since she did that with Leo present. But then she just shrugged. "I shouldn't judge, I once did a guy for a tank of gas."

"Haha suuure suuure" he just said with a smile and then studied her and the beer. It was a familiar image and she seemed to feel comfortable in it. Which made him glad, since he had made her sort of uncomfortable at times. Leo looked at her with a frank expression, not expecting much more, though he didn't think of her as a whore or simila. "I hope he was worth it" he just said with a faint smile.

"I think you mean you hope the gas was worth it. And since we were out of gas it sort of was, plus I was drunk, things become a whole lot more sense making when you are." She pasued to drink. "Don't worry though, I wasn't the one driving."

He made a face and thought for a moment of why she'd be needing gas when she was drunk. But she answered that question herself. Though it still seemed like a mistery to him how she could have a drivers license. "Were you ever the driver?" He just said with a little smirk.

"Well yea, but then I lost my license, I thought you knew. I still don't get what the big problem was though, I never hit anything even if I was a bit shitfaced." Now she was sober, and still thought it was stupid that she wasn't allowed to renew her license yet. "I drove you home a few times without one too you know. You were more prone to pass out back then though." But that was sort of drunk teenager's job, passing out and throwing up that was.

Leo let out a giggle as he was reminded of those days, he sure felt a lot older now. Though he sort of wondered if Jean thought so too, perhaps...? "Yes I remember now, but you know the logic of the drunken mind. Things just happen by magic. I just assumed that you were supposed to drive, though I must say that I can't imagine you having a license. Even though you claim that you never hit anything... I guess they caught you in a control or so?" He tried to hide an amused smile, thinking of how she would have reacted in such a control. Something along the way of "I just had a beer, you're silly, gimme my license back!"
