Leo shrugged with a little smile, she might have a point. "Okay, I wont. I'll just pose as Bazz boytoy as always." He thought a little about the young fans and wondered if the old fans that weren't much younger than him would come back, or if they'd get new kid fans. "Perhaps we should try to make music that's suitable for people that are a little older... we have after all gotten older." He wouldn't remark on his state and hoped that she wouldn't do it either. It didn't affect him that much, at least in his opinion.

"I wasn't even a teenager when we started, and neither was Baz, so I'm not sure it's gonna make a big difference that we're older." Too old maybe. She was still young, Jean knew that, but she felt ancient. Of course it was just a waiting game to see how long it would take before her lifestyle took it's toll and she aged past her years too. After a short pause of gloomy thoughts she continued. "Have you ever considered not being anyone's boytoy for a change? Who knows, you might enjoy it."

Leo didn't make much of a comment on her answer since he thought his thesis could stand against it. As she reminded him of his boytoy-existance he actually looked a bit surprised. "Uhm, I haven't been anybody's boy-anything since I left the band, Jean." He said with a rather thoughtful look on his face, slightly wondering if it even mattered to her, probably not. But he had some times wondered why he hadn't fallen inlove or even fallen for anyone since he left the band. Perhaps it was just a part of growing up and being a stonecold vampire-killer-thing. That whole image didn't really suit him, he thought.

"How the hell would I know, it's not exactly like you've been sending me a weekly newsletter of what's new with Leo. Not to say I'm not surprised, if you weren't sucking up to Bazz there was always some manipulative bitch around to grab the torch from where he left off." She should probably stop there, or he'd get the impression she cared - and they couldn't have that.

Leo bit his lip a bit and seemed to scurry back just a little as she spoke. It was sort of the truth, though he didn't really like to look at it that way. He just thought of it as him having fun, acompanied by others, end of story. "Come on Jean, you know I'm just... having fun. Do I really look that bad in your eyes?" He looked rather confused, not sure of he was angry, sad or simply wanted to accuse her of lying.

"Ask me again in a few hours when you've gotten me drunk. I'm bound to be more positively inclined by then." There she goes again. Almost so that she wished he'd stand up to her just once - even though he did try to kill her last time he did. "At least you stopped hiding out then?" Last time they met he mostly stayed at home and read as far as she remembered. It had been pretty sad.

Leo lowered his gaze and stroke his hair back, though it just fell down into his eyes again. A part of him wanted to yell at her, speak of all the shit he'd been thru as a newborn vampire without any guidance. But then again, he guessed that any vampire goes thru that, so why whould he be any different. She probably wouldn't pitty him anyways. "Yes, I've managed to live life quite well, thank you. I've travelled a bit, played in some bars. Just like I did before Aan, except that everybody knows who I am now..." He said, still speaking to the floor in a mono-tone voice.

"Thankfully most people don't make the connection as to who I am on stage. But I stand in the back next to the drummer and Darren is happy to take care of the attention for me." Jean couldn't hold back a smile, even though she figured he wouldn't see it since she had her head turned in the direction they were going. "He reminds me a lot of you actually. He's like the Leo that can cook."

The anger dwelled in him for a while, but he didn't want to waste energy on it and risk getting into a fight with this friend that he had so recently gained. Instead he focused on her and smiled a little as she mentioned her friend. Leo didn't like the thought of somebody being replaceable, but it still made him happy that she in an absurd way enjoyed his company, though in the form of Darren. "Well, you've never really seen me cook, so don't be so sure that he has that advantage" Though to be true, he didn't know much about cooking, even less now days.

"If you knew how to cook I probably wouldn't have lived on take out for three years straight." She lifted her hand and waved a finger back and forth, most probably at him. "You're not fooling me, my friend. It's fine though, I can't cook either." She looked back at him with a hint of a smile. But he probably already knew that. Leo must have been both stupid and blind to miss it - and she knew he could see.

Leo made a face at her and replied quickly "Like anybody could cook in that small excuse for a kitchen that we had in the tourbuss" He then smiled and added with vengence. "You're lucky you can even make coffee" Then he couldn't help but giggle at his own quick thoughts and retrived good mood. A thought then struck him and he looked around a bit and then at Jean. "Where are we heading again, by the way?"

"If there's a will, there's a way, I think the saying goes. And I don't make real coffee, I just boil water and pour in that instant stuff." Oh god, he was giggling to himself again. Jean rolled her eyes for the second time since they left her house, only this time obscured by the dark sunglasses. If that man was any more gay he'd begin to sparkle, she was sure of it. "You intended on getting me drunk, if I recall correctly. A most splendid idea in my opinion." The woman answered in a dry voice.

"Ah yes, though I'm sort of doubting that saying though. " He simply said with a secretive smile and touched for a moment the memory of when he tried to make her into some kind of thing that he could own. Some things are supposed to be free, Jean was one of those things. If he'd ever try to force her again, she'd probably hate him for real. "Yes, so that you'd become nice to me again" he replied on the subject of getting her drunk, referring to her earlier statement. He smiled sort of sour and almost felt like hissing but didn't. A part of him still wanted to keep this nice atmosphere, but the anger was still tugging at him, deep down.

"If we keep on walking we're bound to find a pub, this is London after all." Not really aware of his thoughts, Jean didn't seem to much change her outlook. "I suppose I can sign on being more pleasant when I'm palatic, in fact I can sign on everyone being more pleasant when I am. I who planned on being sober tonight. I must be completely dimwitted."

"That or somebody that wants our money" he said rather squirmishly. He then laughed a bit at her answer and smiled again. To hear Jean say that she had PLANNED on being SOBER was something that he hadn't quite counted on. And he didn't really know what to think of it either. "No, that doesn't sound much like you, Jeanie. Have you become healthy too?"
