"Yea right, if you really think that, you must have been even more drunk than I remember. Because you did some pretty freaky stuff back in the day." And so did she. Actually, she still did them and she suggested he did a completely different type of freaky now. "You sure you don't just miss Baz? Because I'm sure you can just visit him." She swapped back to the subject of him wanting to go back.

Leo scratched his neck slightly and then corrected the dreads. "Well.. honestly I miss the whole group-dynamic than just him, I think. Things got all weird between us in the end and well...I think we god some catching up to do, all of us" He said the last words rather silently.

"I'm not sure I have anything to share that any of you are interested in hearing." Jean dug up a cigarette (like always) and lit it as they were going down the stairs. "Do you?"

Leo bit his tongue and walked behind her as she lit the ciggi. "But you have to admit that we were a good group and that we could be that good once again?" He then said with a slight wish to just get a straingt answer from her. Though he had perhaps already gotten it several times but refused to accept it. For a moment he thought of what he would do if she simply stated that she didn't want anything to do with it. Perhaps they would go down to the bar, he'd watch her get drunk...and then what? The thought seemed rather depressing and he tried hard to figure out other reasons for her to join the band.

"Of course we were a great band, one of us has had at least a hundred years to practice." Jean shrugged before taking a drag of the cigarette. "I can't say I miss the publicity though. Even though I know you always thrived in the spotlight." Big stages with a big audience was great, but the screaming girls never really stayed at the concerts.

Leo smiled as she admitted that they did after all have something to fight for. He then snickerd as she accused him of liking the spotlight a little too much. Victoriusly he said: "Yes well I know you didn't reject some of the other benifits, like getting paid just to have fun and all the freebies on top of that". Sure, it wasn't always fun to be on the road, but since Leo never had much of a life back at home and he'd been on the road ever since; he really didn't care. Though it would be a lie to say that he didn't miss the "free" money, as he called it.

Jean actually laughed a bit. "I admit, I liked the money, I'm a bad person. But I've had more of a private life since we split up, well, at least since they stopped harassing us about reasons for the split up." A grimace and another drag later, she continued. "Did they call you asking for a comment for this Devils at Dawn stuff too? I'm really just thanking god that I was more or less sober when they called..." Since it had been during the day and she'd been asleep... "Who the hell knows what kind of odd comments I'd be giving them otherwise."

"That's not bad, just realism" Leo smiled and giggled a bit. He had been able to keep his costs pretty low since he didn't need to buy food, but he was more or less running out of money. To play at bars seemed like a good idea at first, but it always seemed to get a bit odd. He wasn't his own anymore, always associated with aan, to the point where he'd pretty much given up. "I wished we could have given them some good explanation so they'd get off our backs. But I guess that's the price you have to pay to be a part of something that people some how loved." He said the last word with a bit or cold irony. It was some strange euphoria about their fans and them, but perhaps love wasn't the best word for it. Addiction might have been a better way to put it, much like a drug it seemed. He listened to her while thinking and laughed a bit at her remark. "I tried to stay out of it, I don't even think I wished them good luck. I mean, how are we supposed to feel about it really?" He then added with a smile "Some say that the drunk speak the truth".

"The reporters have no need for the truth. Not to mention that the truth is pretty fucked up if that statement is true." She threw a glance at him from behind dirty bangs. "Yea, I'd like the fact that they loved us better if a single one of our fans was older than seventeen."

Leo laughed at the thought of telling them the truth. "Oh come on, it would just be called a pr-trick and everybody would laugh about it. It would have been great!" He leaned back for a while and stroke his hair back with a thoughtful expression. "If we get back with Bazz I'm so gonna make him do some vampire stuff as pr. I know the rumors are very charming, but I prefer to be more smashing..." He stopped himself from talking since it felt like he was simply enlargening his own ego. Instead he looked at her and thought of what she said. Luckily he hadn't joked about making them into actionfigures, since that would really underline the age of their fans. "They're innocent creatures...that's why they need our music...or..." He thought for a moment then let go of the attempt to try and justify what he had just said. "I've seen fans older than seventeen" he then added.

"Yea of course, well the guitarist tried to kill me and I blamed our front man, that's why we broke it off and why he wants to start a new band without us. That would make nice headlines." She rolled her eyes and threw away what little was left of her cigarette. "Why would we want to encourage the vampire rumors anyway? And I'm pretty sure the ones older than seventeen was just trying to nail some underage tail."

Leo made a bit of a face as she posed her picture of what happened. "I was thinking of me going vampire and all, that would sound pretty cool...I think at least." He tried to smile but her continuing response made him almost frown or at least lower his all time high eyebrows. "Aren't you being just a biiit too pessimistic now? You're making it sound like you hated everything...?" He pouted a bit with his lips and looked at her with some what puppylike eyes, begging for a compliment of some kind.

"I loved everything, the parties the money the music... But the vampire rumors and teenage fans? Not so much. Sadly you can't get anything good without something bad I've noticed." Digging up and pulling on a pair of sunglasses like your typical cliché rock star she continued. "If anything times were too good and we had to pay the price sooner or later. Lets not make things even worse by starting to spread that you became a psychotic bloodsucker too."
