"Good memory, ey? Sounds good. But I wished I had really bad memory, after all the bad music I have heard."

"Sadly, most of us have to stand bad music. There's a guy two doors down that plays the trumpet for one." She noticed her cup was empty and so she stood up to go fill it again. "Well yes, it's hard to pursue any kind of academic career without at least a decent memory after all."

Balthazar laughed "And I bet he plays at the most irritating times." He kept his eyes on Simone as she went over to fill her cup. If she was scarred by the dead girl, she sure did not show it.

"Of course, what kind of trumpet player would he be otherwise?" She assumed that Balthazar would tell her if he wanted more coffee and so she sat back down. "May I ask you a question?"

"Yes, that is true. I bet they are all in it together." Balthazar took another sip of the coffee and felt another wave of sickness come over him, but it passed rather quickly. "Yes, of course. What?"

"Perhaps all trumpet players are vampiric, would explain it? Having something to do with the occult power of the brass instrument." She agreed, following up on the joke. "Anyway... Well, you agreed to come to drink coffee with me, yet you don't seem very interested in making conversation... Why exactly did you agree?"

"Well, I wanted to make sure you were alright." Balthazar fiddled with the ear on the cup. "And it seems that you are. Do you want me to leave?" Balthazar took her question as that she wanted him to leave. He wasn't the most talkative person, and perhaps he shouldn't have stayed this long. And he had gotten what he considered an answer. He got up on his feet.

"No, I'm fine with you being here, it's actually a nice break from studying, but I'm just surprised that you don't have anything you'd rather do?" Simone drank from her cup of coffee. "And despite common claim, there is always a reason for why people does the things they do, so I'm wondering what yours is in this specific case."

"Well as I told you, I wanted to make sure you were alright. And besides, this is also a nice break for me. From... Well, everything." Balthazar smiled slightly.

"Doesn't celebrities go to ten thousand pound spas when they need a vacation?" She smiled at him from behind her coffee cup. "Rather than a tiny dorm room."

"Believe me, a ten thousand pound spa is the last thing I want right now!" He smiled back at her and looked around the room again. It really was tiny. "Well... It really is a tiny room, but I'm not the one that has to live here."

"I get to live by myself, I'm happy. The first year I had to have a room mate and even though I know it's an exaggeration, she seemed to want company every single night." She looked sort of annoyed by the mere memory. "If you get my drift. But this still strikes me as a bit odd. Would you like if I asked more questions about your old band?"

"Two people, in this room?" Balthazar just shook his head. "You may ask, if you have any questions. But I don't have a specific... yearning to speak about it." Balthazar tilted his head just a bit to the side.

Simone laughed. "No, it was a slightly bigger room, I asked to get a single room. Well what do you want to speak about then?" She had suggested it since that had been when she had gotten the most elaborate answers.

"Oh, well, I guess if you want to get me talking it probably is to talk about Angels at Night. After all, they were, and are, a big part of my life."
