Ever since the incident with Simone and the dead girl, Balthazar had been worried that she suspected that it was him. Perhaps he was paranoid, but she had acted quite strange, and well, the body had laid in the alley he had come from, if Simone had seen that. And of course, he was famous, so if she did suspect him, it wasn't that hard to track him down. He had worn down the carpet at his apartment thinking about what he should do, and if he was just paranoid, or what, and gotten to the conclusion that he had to figure out if she suspected him or not, not before that, could he get some rest from these thoughts. He had to see her again. he had to figure out what she thought about it all, once and for all. In perfect stalker style, he stood on a street not far from Simone's apartment, waiting for her to come out. When she finally did so, he started to walk towards her, looking down at his feet as he walked, like he had no idea she was there.

Simone was heading out to buy some food, nothing more exciting than that... But she was very surprised to see a certain old idol walking by her house. "Balthazar? What are you doing here?"

Balthazar smiled before he looked up with a surprised face. "...Simone. Right?" Trying to disguise the fact that he was kinda stalking her, by making it sound like he didn't remember her name. "Hi, I was just going to go shop for some toys for... My nieces birthday." Lovely. Trying to look more human, not at all like a murdering vampire, just a regular human. Well, a famous human, but a human nonetheless.

"Yes, Simone." She looked a bit confused for a moment, and smiled. "That's... Nice. But are you lost? Unless you are looking for litterature or fast food you're probably not going to find it here."

Balthazar scratched the back of his head a bit embarrassed. "Yeah, I guess I am pretty lost. I usually let an assistant shop for me. Perhaps you can show me the directions to a good toy store?" He didn't wanted to bee too intruding. "Were were you heading?"

"Well, I ran out of coffee and figured I'd get myself something to eat as I had to go to the store anyway. I think the closest mall is two blocks that way though." She pointed down the street as she spoke. "They're probably closed though... With it being late." Simone looked at him for a moment. "Are you high?"

Damn! Of course the stores were closed! They had been for about two hours. "Well, yeah... As I said, I usually let an assistant do the shopping... I guess I have to do the shopping tomorrow then." Balthazar looked back at Simone as she looked at him and was just about to read her mind when she spoke and startled him. "High? No, I'm not high" He said, although it would be a good excuse for him acting so strange. He decided to strike of 'Professional stalker', on his 'possible careers'- list, when he got home.

"Wow. I think you've been rich for too long." Simone said after blinking for a few times. "Who knew there were dangers in that?" She did smile at him. "Nothing, it's just, you're acting a bit strange. But hey, that's one of the positive things about being rich, now you're just eccentric."

Balthazar smiled back at Simone, and then started to laugh, trying to smooth it all over. "Yes, one could say that... I'm sorry... I feel quite embarrassed, I must say." Balthazar then tried to get to the point, his point, changing the subject and and got really serious. "How have you been by the way? You know, with the girl and all?"

"It's fine, we all have our bad days. I'm good, I passed my exam, and soon I get to chose my specilization. How are you?" She pulled her hair behind her hair and looked up at him with an honest smile. "What girl?"

His smile widened as she talked about school. He remembered her telling him she studied history. "Ah, so what have you decided on?" When she asked him what girl he was talking about, he wrinkled his forehead. Had she forgotten? No, it was not possible. Should he take the chance to awaken her memory, or was it best to let it be, if she really had forgotten about it? He ignored her question on how he was, completely. "You don't remember? You know, last time we met...?"

"I just don't know, there's just so many things I want to study, and everytime I decide upon something, I notice something else that I don't want to not chose... If that makes any sense." Simone looked like she had no idea what he was talking about... Until she did. "Oh, you mean... I'm sorry, I just try not to think about it, I suppose I'm just not that great a person."

Balthazar shook his head slightly. Perhaps she actually had forgotten about it. Stupid of him to mention it. "Oh, no I understand. I'm sorry to bring it up again, I just wanted to know that everything was alright, you know."

"It's fine. I suppose I'm not the only one that was a bit shook from the experience." Simone went silent for a few seconds before speaking up again with a friendly expression. "Would you like to join me for a cup of coffee or something? I completely understand if you can't though - just figured, with all local toy stores being closed and all."

"Yeah, sure, that sounds great, actually. With all local toy stores being closed and all" he echoed, now nodded slightly, digging his hands down in his pockets on his coat. He still wasn't too sure, whether she suspected him or not. It didn't seem like it, but you never know. And now he could get more chances to read her mind.
