Simone laughed slightly. "Okay? It's funny how different they seem from the outside. And you still wanted them?" Specifically that last one.

Balthazar laughed too. "Yes, especially after our first meeting, with everyone. They are all so different, but I could see they would be great together." And they were, until Leo turned all crazy, he thought for himself.

"Do they still curse at you?" She seemed a bit amused.

Balthazar laughed again and nodded. "Oh, yes, they do, they do." Balthazar looked down at his shoes as he walked, and then up at Simone again. All this talk of Angels at Night had made his lose track of his real intentions for meeting Simone. But he did not know how he would know if she suspected him, without waking suspicion.

Simone let out a soft laugh. "Lets hope it's a loving kind of cursing."

Balthazar just nodded slightly again, and answered with a smile: "Yes." before he went silent, reading her mind, but because she wasn't thinking of the girl, he couldn't tell anything of value.

If she knew he was reading her mind she woul probably have been embarrassed, since she was comparing the old idoly view of the people by the glints of information she was getting here. That and since there was some thoughts of her that thought that Balthazar actually managed to be cuter as a real person. You never get away from your teen idols. "So what happened once they accepted then? I mean, you came out of nowhere and suddenly you were famous."

Balthazar smiled as he read her thoughts. It wasn't often he read the mind of a fan actually, but he had liked what he had read so far. When Simone started to talk again, he got distracted. "I would like to say that it was because we were so good, but I think it mostly came down to luck. That and a wide network."

"I'm not sure how heavy it weighs, but I always thought you were good." Simone gave him an encouraging smile. "But don't worry, i mean, you didn't find Leo, Ice and Jean instantly either, did you? I'm sure you'll find new members sooner or later."

"Thanks, that actually weighs quite heavy." Balthazar smiled back at her, considering her words. "Yeah, I guess you are right. I hope so." Balthazar looked around. They were almost at Simone's place, and he thought about if this really was such a great idea. He had begun to realize that she was an old fan, more and more now, and he had always tried to not get too close to them. But he just thought to himself that that was silly, and didn't think much about it again.

"This is where I live anyway." She said as she stopped them to turn towards the entrance and once inside getting up a key card to get from the reception to a corridor with apartments and a stairwell. "I'm on the third floor." Simone explained as she started climbing said stairs. "How old is your niece by the way?" She asked, truky wondering.

Balthazar looked around as they entered the building, and began to walk to the third floor beside Simone. "She's four." he lied, hoping he wouldn't have to come up with some huge lie about his fake sister or brother. He hated that.

"Aw, that's adorable. It's also a lot easier to find presents for them at that age." She doubted a moment and decided to clarify. "I have cousins a lot younger than me."

"Ah, I see." Actually Balthazar hadn't wondered, he had just hoped that she would let it go, but he decided to stop being so paranoid. As they came up to the third floor, Balthazar looked around, wondering which way her apartment was, looking at Simone.

She stopped by a door and got up her keys, answering his silent question. Opening the door, she offered him to step into the small apartment first. There was only one room with a cooking corner, but it was cozy with a lot of books and earthy colors. "Feel free to make yourself comfortable." She said, even though there was only a small table with two chairs to sit by. After closing the door after them she went to prepare the coffee and put the food in the fridge.
