"Do you have any interesting stories from your life as a rock star? Perhaps you could write a biography." Mm, coffee. "I mean, I would read it. I do read pretty much anything though."

"Yeah, you're right, I could write a biography!" Balthazar put down the cup again and smiled at Simone. She had actually given him a great idea, and he wondered why he hadn't thought of it before. Perhaps because he would have to lie like hell. But it could be done.

His face really lit up, she liked that. "Anything specific to write down that comes to mind?" It did look like it.

Balthazar laughed slightly, and took up the cup again, just holding it. "No, not really. Just things I wouldn't write down." He took another sip of the coffee, and then put down the cup on the table again, leaning back in the chair.

"Anything you want to share?" She tried to cull it out of him.

Balthazar smirked and just said: "No." He thought of how she would react if he would tell her. Freak? Act like she already knew? It would be most interesting, but most wrong, and impossible. The secret should never get out.

"You're not big on talking, are you?" Drinking her coffee, she looked slightly amused. "Maybe I should get you a microphone?" It might be a poor joke, but she thought it was funny.

"Yeah, you would like that wouldn't you?" Again he laid up his leg on his knee, and he shrugged his shoulders a bit. "No, I guess I'm not the biggest talker."

"Yea, I probably would." She admitted. "Arts always fascinated me though - since I never really could do it myself." Simone would try to be the person to keep the conversation going, but it was hard to think of what in her rather ordinary life that would interest him.

"You've tried anything?" he asked, leaning forward again, putting together his hands like in prayer.

"Well, I tried poetry in my teens." She fixed her eyes on something in the distance. "Probably shouldn't have. And even though I never really tried my hands at anything musical, I am quite convinced it would be next to disastrous."

Balthazar was just on the verge on offering her his help if she ever should be interested in learning to play an instrument, but stopped himself. "Why so sure of that? You never know until you try, as they say."

"Let us say I probably never will be intoxicated enough to try my hands at singing, and one can assume that there is no chance in hell that I would ever be able to learn to play a instrument properly... Since I failed music class every time I had to take it."

"Ah, well, with the right teacher you might." Balthazar looked down at the coffee, starting to feel the first sign of sickness. It wasn't at all as bad as it was going to get, and he had about another hour and half before it would get really bad. He looked up at Simone again as the wave of sickness went away again.

"Some people are born with musical talent. Me however, I just have a really good memory." Simone shrugged lightly. "Feels like you should be sort of sick of bad musicians by now anyway."
