She had shook her head at the blanket and as the episode came to it's end she picked up the controller to just check what program follows.

"Yes, I guessed you'd come up with some explanation for me being able to suck your blood anyway."
He turned his attention to the TV again as Simone checked the following program.

"If that was what you were going to do, it was probably for the best that you got interrupted. I can tell you right away there are humans that does that too. The Aztecs for example drank the blood of their enemies to gain their vitality."

Balthazar laughed.
"I knew it! I promise, I won't try to prove it anymore. So that was actually funny, what's on next?"
He nodded towards the TV.

"Come on, that one wasn't even hard to disprove. Haven't you ever seen Fight Club?"
She stopped to figure out if she didn't want to swap channels before finally quoting the movie.
"You can swallow a pint of blood before you get sick... Seems it's some stand up show. So either it will be hilarious or we will want to find the guys home address just to punch him in the face."

Balthazar fought the urge to tell her that he could drink so much more. But he just smiled, and said:
"Well, either way it could be funny, right?"
He smirked.

She stopped looking at the TV and stared at Balthazar.
"How can you not have seen Fight Club?"
Simone soon shrugged at the comment of it being funny.
"Didn't really know we had that kind of relationship."

He just shrugged and laughed at her last comment.
"You mean, the hunt-down-and-beat-up-a-stranger-relationship?"

She smiled to then look sort of dubious.
"No, I meant more... the kinky bite-you-and-drink-your-blood-relationship."

He couldn't help but to smile, remembering that night he had actually drunk her blood. And to not push the vampire matter further he just said:
"No, of course not. As I said, I won't try to prove it again."

She actually snickered somewhat.
