Balthazar just remembered a small fault in his plan, but decided to try anyway. She would probably come up with some explanation for him drinking her blood too, if he made it.
He took her wrist shaking his head, thinking he was crazy, and put it up to his mouth, avoiding looking at Leo.

Leo looked rather surprised actually, this sure was strange, an unreasonable Bazz, really?
On the other hand, she was just another chick... so this should be okay..? Hm.
Honestly though this was very amusing, especially Bazz trying to look like he was doing something casual and modest and not trying to freak her out. The fact that Bazz didn't dare to look at Leo's big grin confirmed it; Bazz must be shitting himself by now. The thought made Leo laugh right out loud.
"You're so funny" he said in between laughs.

Okay... This was pretty strange. Like, above the bar strange.

As Leo started laughing however, she just assumed it was some weird joke as a response to her earlier comments and so relaxed.

Balthazar took away Simone's wrist from his mouth to answer Leo.
"Yeah, I'm fucking hilarious. If you're just gonna sit there and laugh, you may as well fuck off!"
He glared at Leo, not appreciating him laughing at him a bit.

This was probably the first time Leo had seen Bazz angry, but on the other hand, it was still very amusing. Like jeez, why did he even care about this girl. If he wanted to bite her why didn't he just do so? It's not like he was being incredibly romantic or anything. Maybe he had some sort of age-related crisis. Leo did however feel wise enough to leave before he became too agitated.
"Fine, I'm not going to ruing the fun for you." He said while getting up and looked at Simone.
"You better give him a second try, he's really good, I'm just being an asshole" he said with a shrug and then walked out with a vague "toodles".

That on the other hand got her rather uncomfortable and she did her best try to yank back her hand.
"Maybe I should leave. You two obviously have a lot to work out."

Balthazar rushed up from where he was sitting, his first reaction to kill Leo. He hated that side of Leo, even if he loved it at the same time. But human Leo had been more lovable. He went over to the door as Leo walked out and shouted to him.
"Yes, you are a right asshole! I see that now!"
Leo would probably just keep laughing at him, but he did not care. He did not really know what he was angry about. Just Leo's general attitude that had been bothering him.
He turned his back on Leo, feeling quite stupid. He avoided Simone's questions, and eyes for that matter.

Leo was sitting tying his boots when the shout reached him, and for some reason it actually sounded sincere. What the hell was wrong with Bazz? He'd been acting so fucking strange lately that nothing made sense any more. Normally Leo wouldn't be bothered, but when he was called an asshole it was more or less just too much. He rushed back and was in Bazz's face in a matter of moments.
"Hey, you fucking soppy! What the hell is the matter with you? You chase after little chicks and can't seem to judge if they're your friends or food. I was only joking around because you were making her fucking uncomfortable by behaving bloody weird. You were bound to give her a fucking heart-attack. Get your shit together for christ sake!" He shouted, not seemingly angry but very annoyed.

Suddenly she got why the band split up in the first time, but it didn't give her much satisfaction.

With nothing better to come with, he hit Leo right in the chest so he flew back at least 4 meters, and then with supernatural speed walked over to him.
"I'm very well aware what Simone is to me."
He said calmly, that he now after a bit of thinking came to the conclusion he had known from the beginning.
"If anything, it's your crazy ass that's making her uncomfortable. Just like with Jean."
His mouth tightened as he said that last part.

The blow struck him hard, but it didn't bother him too much. He coughed and wanted to ask what Simone might mean to Bazz, but that would probably just lead to even more blows, which wasn't very nice. The second comment struck him harder than the blow, he tried to get up while muttering.
"Then why didn't you ask me to leave? Or why not tell me that I'm a freak in the first place." He gritted his teeth, bitter to be estranged by the one of the few that were close to him.

Balthazar looked as Leo got up, and it seemed his comment had hurt him. He was glad.
"Because for some reason I thought I loved you. But right now I can't remember why. You, Leo, are a jerk. Grow up."
It was a bit harsher than intended, but he meant it at that moment.

He said, trying to not seem as hurt as he was, more or less just wanting to get the fuck out of there and away from this whole shit hole, where apparently everybody now hated him.

Even she thought that was sort of harsh.
