A bit surprised at her invite he hesitated before answering "Uhm... Sure!" He laughed and went on "That sounds great, no cops and indoors nonetheless... and without a closing hour at that!" She didn't seem like the type to invite strangers home but he was glad that she had, he could use some company.

"If you're still there in a few days I will definitely throw you out, but I suppose that is still a few days longer than any bar." Also, when she was home she could actually mix that vodka with something if there was any left by the time they gt there. "It's not too far."

"Well I wouldn't wanna out-stay my welcome and besides, I'm looking for someone so I can't hang around too long" He was still a bit puzzled about her invite, she didn't seem to dislike him but she dent really strike him as the person who invites random people home like that... but he didn't really know much about her so he decided to be happy about it. "Lead the way!" he said loudly with a sweeping gesture of his arm.

"You're looking for someone at the graveyard?" She seemed pretty amused by the fact. "And who the hell doesn't have a cell phone these days, wouldn't it be easier to just call the guy than walk around looking in a city with more than seven million inhabitants?" Jean actually had no problem with inviting strangers home, the problem was more that if she was sober, most strangers annoyed her beyond belief and as such wouldn't be invited anywhere. "We're already headed there." She then said with a nod forward, as she had been walking home all along, and he had just seemed to be walking in whatever direction she was walking in.

"Well... No, I'm not looking for her here. I was looking for her and then I got hammered and ended up here" Alan tried to but couldn't remember where he had been when he started drinking "Well, she might have a cell phone but I don't. But we're both homeless so we wouldn't have a lot of opportunities to recharge our phones. Besides... I get by quite alright without one, of course it would be easier to get a hold of people but what the hell...." He gave it some thought but decided that he couldn't be bothered to get a cell phone cause more problems than it would solve he thought to himself. "Oh? Well then uh... keep leading the way then"

"Are everybody homeless these days? Is it the latest craze or something?" She shook her head, not even trying to be sensitive about it. "So, some sort of aversion to technology or a fear that "the fuzz" will track you through it?" Jean asked as she continued to lead the way, actually curious. She had really thought that everybody that had refused cellphones in the beginning had been forced to give in five years ago.

"I don't know, but I can say I was homeless before it got fashionable.... I've been living like this since I was 18 and I'm 40 now." She seemed a bit surprised about him being homeless and cell-phone-less. "They can actually do that? Seems reasonable to an extent but no, like I said I wouldn't really be able to recharge it and it's not like I need it that much..." He stopped and laughed "Well... saying that I don't need it seems daft right now doesn't it? If both Isola and me had one each I wouldn't be having this problem"

"I'm glad to hear it." She said with a short chuckle and then shrugged. "Pretty sure they can anyway." As he concluded that he would have one problem less if he only owned a cell phone, she was quiet for a few seconds as she tried to remember where she had heard that name before, it wasn't exactly common, and then turned to him with some surprise in her eyes, followed by a laugh. "Fuck. Isola, a short platinum blond girl? Sort of creepy eyes?" Irises that was too light was just bloody unsettling.

"Yeah, do you know her? I mean I wouldn't call her eyes creepy but you're description is pretty accurate and her name isn't that common either" Alan exclaimed. He was kind of surprised at Jean seeming to know Isola, they hardly seemed the people who would get drawn to each other or anything but then again you could never be shure who Isola talked to and who she got on with. She's a strange little "astronomer" he thought to himself.

"Can't be that many girls fitting that description anyway. So yea, she tried to get it on with an old friend of mine." She shook her head slightly with a faint smirk, as if mentally proclaiming something akin to "stupid girl" and soon after continuing. "But if she followed my advice, I should know where she lives now, if you're interested?" Not that teenagers was well known for listening to rationality, she sure as hell didn't when she was in Isola's age. Not that she always did now either.

"Okay? That's her business not mine, as long as she doesn't get hurt of course. We go back pretty far, I'm sort of a big brother or father figure to her or something" He felt more at ease when Jean said she knew where Isola might be "Yeah? Is it like an apartment or something? If you don't mind I'd like to go there as soon as possible, you can come and we can get something to drink there"

She had her doubts as to whether or not she really wanted to see the girl or not, but then figured it couldn't hurt, right? She could just leave if things got out of hand. There was always the possibility of saving an otherwise shitty evening. "Yea, sure. But I suggest we take the bus in that case." Jean stopped to turn and walk in a different direction, as their destination has changed, waiting for him to follow suit before continuing. "And with that being said, girl has a crappy taste in guys, so maybe you should make it your business."

"I guess I have some change for the bus" he said and followed her. "Maybe I should but then again maybe I shouldn't, if I stepped in and said don't do that she'd more than likely do the exact opposite" he laughed "At least that's what I would have done when I was her age. Who is this guy you say she tried to get it on with anyway?"

"My best friend, or was anyway, believe it or not. But seriously, he's an idiot." She shook her head slightly at the thought. "It would do everybody some good if he just kept away from girls all together..." this was followed by a snort. "And guys for that matter. Without a doubt your girl would end up hurt." And not only emotionally, if she was unlucky. Followed with him bitching incessantly like he was the victim. She was glad they jumped that hurdle. "Don't worry about the bus, I can cover it if that's a problem." This was said partly to change the subject.

"A real ass huh? Maybe I should say something about it if she's still serious about it" He gave it some thought, how he might advise her without being to superior. He hated playing the I'm older I know best part but sometimes it might be needed. "That's nice of you, I really need to save what I can" He didn't really like it but he wasn't above freeloading "If you don't mind of course"
