"I like walking... But I don't know, I think I just want to get home." This was so surreal. this entire night was.

"Okay. Taxi it is." Balthazar walked over to the road and got them a cab that came driving towards them. When it stopped Balthazar opened the door for Simone to get in. Much easier than to take the tube, he thought.

She was a bit surprised at the fact that he was getting them a cab. First he buys all the drinks and now this? Was he sure he wasn't trying to get her into bed?
Then she figured he was just trying to be nice. Understandable, seeing as how they'd both just stumbled over a dead young woman. So she just stepped inside and told him the address, something she'd be less likely to do if she didn't live at a campus. "Thank you." She then told Balthazar as he came in.

Balthazar entered the cab and sat down beside Simone, and the cab drove of. "It's nothing. As I said, one good thing about being famous is the money, and you have had a rough ending of the night." He smiled honestly at her, to make sure she didn't think he was just trying to get her in to bed.

"It's just so unreal you know? If there had been more talking animals I'd be convinced tonight was just a dream." She tried to explain how she felt before the whole thing, since she wasn't as horrified as it felt like she should be.

"Yeah, it does feel unreal... just like a dream." he lied, shaking his head. This was his life, and nothing about it was unreal for him. "More talking animals? When did you her an animal speak tonight?" He tried to lighten up the mood, but he felt it was a really lame try, so forced.

"Well I did meet my teenage idol and find a... You know. Seems like a talking animal is what's missing. That and maybe suddenly discovering I'm naked." She had never got that actually, she never dreamed she was suddenly naked, she did however often dream that she forgot her shoes when she went somewhere. It was a very frustrating feeling.

Balthazar laughed. "Yes, that would've been something! The talking animal I mean. Not that... Ah, nevermind." Balthazar didn't bother trying to explain, she knew what he meant, and probably didn't even care. He looked out the window, and not many seconds later, the cab stopped and the driver turned to them. Balthazar payed the driver and stepped out of the cab.

Simone did understand what he meant, even though she had to admit he had said a lot of sexually ambiguous things this evening... But she had bigger problems after all. "Well the evening isn't over yet." She pointed and as she stepped out, surprised to find that he too was leaving the cab. Was he planning on coming home with her?
"This is where I live anyway." She said, motioning in the direction of a group of buildings. her school was about a five minute walk from here, and many of the students there lived here just like her.

Balthazar looked up at the buildings as the cab drove of. One could clearly see that many student lived here. Flags in some windows, no flowers, no curtains. Just very simple and not so homey, most of them. "So, will you be alright then?" He knew how this seemed but he was just being very friendly, and he thought he might smooth over him paying the cab driver now, and not taking it himself later, with: "I don't live far from here, so I'll walk" It was a lie. He lived quite far from there, but for him, it wasn't that far.

"I will be alright. Thank you." She said, nodding to vertify her words.

"Are you really? You have a roommate or anything that you can talk to?" He didn't want to make it sound like he was trying to get in to her apartment or anything, but she had just seen a young girl laying dead in an alley, and he wasn't sure it was the right thing to do, to leave her all alone. He backed away one step, to don't seem so intimidating.

"No, I live alone. But I'll be fine." Maybe freak out a little.

Balthazar did not respond, he just looked at Simone and tried to figure out if she really would be fine. He read her mind, but right now it was mostly chaos. He wasn't sure if that was a bad sign or not, and he considered giving her his phone number. But that was probably not a good idea, and she said she would be fine, so he wouldn't... stand on ceremony. "Okay, if you are sure, then I say good bye, and good night, to you." Balthazar smiled and nodded slowly at her.

"Good night. I had a nice time, you know, considering. Maybe I'll run into you again sometime." With that, she raised her hand in an absentminded wave and turned to go back home. She had a lot to think through.
