Well then, perhaps I'll consider it" Balthazar smiled and then looked at her meaningly/knowingly. "Well, of course I meant that I would pay for it. So what do you want?" This place was sure too expensive to be this new a nightclub. He would probably never go to this place again.

"You'll have to accept the possibility that people think you're crazy though." He did get a smile back. "Well thank you... A Mint Sunrise would be amazing." Now came the question, was he just being nice because he could afford it, or was he hitting on her? Usually it would be easy to tell, but who knew with retired rock stars? Up until now retired anyway. "I think that that idea is based upon the fact that you'd be looking for love though, although I suppose it is easily faked for the sake of good TV."

"Yeah... No I don't think that will ever happen" He nodded at the bartender, that served Simone her Mint Sunrise. He hoped that she wouldn't take it the wrong way. He was just being kind, buying a poor student a drink. But he understood that it could be taken the wrong way, but said nothing about it. "I guess it is quite hard to meet someone in that way, even if you really are looking for love. But I guess it never is really serious anyway."

"Thank you." She said to both the bartender and Balthazar, even if she doubted both heard it, taking a sip she continued. "At least the drink seems price worthy." But then again, London was known for their cocktails, definitely different from back home. "To be honest I never really saw why you would want to look for a husband on national TV, so I'm not sure any of the shows are real. My mother used to love watching them. Probably still does, I suppose."

Balthazar heard her 'Thank you', and smiled and nodded at her as response. "I'm glad you like it." "I don't think any of those shows are real. They sound really fake. But you never know with people." He became quiet and thought about how this could be perceived, so then he added: "I hope you don't think I'm a creepy guy buying you a drink just to get to sleep with you." He gave her a sincere look

Simone got her drink in the wrong pipe and started coughing as he said that last pipe. Then she started laughing, even though she was embarrassed. "Don't take this the wrong way, but it wouldn't work anyway, so it doesn't much matter." She covered her eyes with a smile for a second, before looking up at him again, having gotten her sense back. "But I suppose your honesty is refreshing, so thank you."

Balthazar got a bit offended by her laugh, but did not show it. Instead he smiled and asked her: "What?" before she got to explaining why. "Why, you are welcome, but why wouldn't it have worked? Is it something to do with me?" He smiled, showing her he wasn't really serious.

"No, it's just, I don't know you. Simply... How can I know I want to go home with you when I don't know you?" And, she had waited so long the thought kind of intimidated her. "You probably already know you're attractive, but if I went home with every attractive guy I met I'd never do anything else!"

Balthazar laughed softly and shook his head just a little. "I know, I'm sorry, I was just kidding." He took another of those fake sips of the wine and began to fiddle with his rosary again. He didn't really know where to go from here, but tried to change the subject. "Doesn't your friends miss you?" He knew this might sound like he was trying to get rid of her but he was just thinking of her, being here at the bar alone. Perhaps it was his old side that did the thinking, when he thought that wasn't good for a young girl. He thought her friends might check up on her.

"I don't think they much care where I went. Or go for that matter." Mm, it really was a good drink. Simone really was a taste-drinker than a drunk-drinker though, so otherwise she wouldn't be drinking it. "You know how people are, they nag until you come, and then they get drunk and forget about you in thirty minutes." She shrugged and then looked up at him. "Or maybe you don't, well, for us mortals, that's usually how it is."

Balthazar shrugged of her comments on 'us mortals', for a saying for someone that's not famous. He did not want to react to it. "No, I understand. It's pretty much the same here." Balthazar got to think about Leo, the one he always went out with when Angels at Night still existed. He did that. When Balthazar wasn't in the mood, Leo would wonder of, as he should. But the old fashioned Bazz thought this was different, leaving a young girl alone at a nightclub

"Well, that's just how it is, so I'm afraid I'm on my own until I decide to begin my journey home. Or, with you, as it would seem." Until she went home, one of her friends got too drunk and needed to be escorted or until he got tired of her company. All on all, a better night than she expected.

"I'm sorry to hear. But, yes, you are not completely alone at least." Balthazar smiled faintly. He did not know how long he would be staying. He looked at his leather clock on his wrist, and saw that it was half past 12. He hadn't been her that long, and the sun wouldn't rise for at least 4 hours.

"It's fine. I knew what I got myself into after all and I've already gotten some company. What about you, how ong are you planning on staying? Did you come here to do something specific?" Probably he was just there to hang out with strangers like her, but there was no harm asking.

"I don't know how long I'll be staying. I got here to relax from the audition. Perhaps not he best place to do that in, I probably would have left if I hadn't met you." And of course he could have just gone home, but he felt like he had been trapped in his apartment way too long. He had started to hate it.
