Alan laughed as Isola hugged him and walked after her towards the store "So what kind of yummyness are you in the mood for? I haven't tasted whiskey for a very long time it seems... was just last week I had a whole bottle but hey, who's counting?" He smiled at her and dug his hands in his pockets and pulled a bundle of money and said "We can treat ourselves to something special OR a lot of something not so special, your choice mylady"

"Well.. then whiskey it is! I've got some money too, so we can buy whatever we want. Whiskey, vodka and maybe some food.." She smiled and danced away to the shop that was across the street they were on. The shop was quite boring and sterile, but Isola found the store clerk to be one of the world's nicest people, in addition he was also welsh which meant that she liked the little shop even more. As Isola walked in she greeted the old man behind the cash register in Welsh and smiled, she walked over to a narrow alley with whiskey bottles on the shelves and looked at Alan. "Which one do you want?"

Alan followed Isola into the store, smiling at her way of expressing her good mood. The store was definately not to his liking but Isola seemed to know the store quite well and the clerk as well so she assumed it was a nice place, despite it's uninspired interior.
"Which one do I want? Oh, I don't know really... Grants is a nice one, but we can take something even fancier if you want to" He paused and smiled at her again, she really had a way of spreading joy about her. "So what will it be? Grants or something else? I would like some beer as well of course..."

"How about Velvet? It's cheap and drinkable? And I think I'll buy it . " Isola giggled and took two bottles of whiskey and walked over to the register and the old Welsh clerk. She smiled and talked with him in Welsh and asked him about how he was doing, how the business was running while she searched in her red bag after the money. Finally Isola found it payed for her booze and stepped aside waiting for Alan to make his mind up.

Alan picked up a bottle of velvet as well and a couple of beer and went over the old guy and payed. When he was done a stepped outside again and looked at Isola "Nice old chap, a bit boring store maybe but... well you just can't have it all can you?". He opened a bottle of beer and had a go at it "This was exactly what I needed" he sighed a little and took another gulp of his beer "You fancy a beer stargazer?"

"No thanks, I've got my babies!" Isola smiled wide and hugged her bottles of whiskey, treating them like babies. One whiskey went down in her bag and the other one Isola opened and took a big gulp, making a grimace since it was a quite edgy taste. "This what I needed!" She started to walk towards where the nearest subway was and waved to Alan to follow. The whiskey made her all warm and fuzzy inside, a feeling to be compared with being in love. So with a bottle of whiskey in one hand and the other one brushed her hair away from her face, Isola started to sing softly on the song "My favourite waste of time" with Owen Paul to her bottle.

"That's allright, more for me" He lit up a big grin and emptied the bottle in one big gulp and then burped loudly.
"So what is this little place of yours like anyway?" He was kind of curious as to what kind of a little nest she had built herself. He laughed a little at the thought of her flying around gathering twigs and what not to build a little nest. "Knowing you I'm sure it's all nice and cosy right?" He smiled at her and opened another bottle of beer.

"Actually, it's an old bombshelter or and old storage-room or something, a forgotten room down in the tunnels." It wasn't a big room, perhaps 3x4meters, but it kept the cold out and other people too since she had the only key to that solid steel door. It was pure luck that she had found it that time, stumbling into a brickwall and some of the bricks came tumbling down, creating a hole big enough for her body, and behind the wall was a door.. Everytime Isola left the room she placed the bricks back into the wall again, making it invisible to others. Inside she had made it, as Alan said, all nice and cosy with an old matress, some pillows and candles to light up the dark. In addition to that Isola had a homemade shelf with books and other pretty things she had gathered through the years. "But yeah, it's pretty cosy." She replied and smiled.

Alan had followed Isola down into the tunnels and she had showed him her secret little hide-out hidden behind a brick wall and a steel door. He was, to say the least, quite impressed since he wasn't used to this kind of sleeping arrangements.
"This is a REALLY nice place, stargazer... you just stumbled upon it or what?" He squinted his eyes in the darkness that consumed everything after Isola had closed the door. "A little dark maybe but it's nice all the same" he lit a match and held it out in front om his face "I take it you have candles or something right? I wouldn't want to step on something or sit on you by accident" He grinned at her impishly and handed her his box of matches.

"Yeah, I actually did and it fucking hurt." She smiled although Alan couldn't see it, it was heard in her voice, Isola received the box from Alan and lit a match to see where she had put the candles. Some stood on the shelf and some stood on the mattress, Isola went to lit the candles on the shelf first, mostly because they were closer to where she stood. Farther into the room was the mattress and beside it was a small table with some tea lights on, Isola put out the match, that by now almost burned her fingers and sat on the mattress to light the candles on the table. The room was lit by a dim and warm glow, bright enough to see where things stood. "Come over here and sit down." Isola patted a spot beside her on the mattress.

"It's even better with light you know" he winked at her and stepped over to the bed, put down his bag and guitarcase next to it and then sat down. He opened his own bottle of whiskey and took out two worn and dented tin cups from his bag and filled them with whiskey. Handing one cup to Isola he said "Cheers... to... um... A bombsafe hide-out!" He drank all the whiskey in one big mouthful and poured up another cup for himself.

Isola drank to Alans toast, but a certain person showed up in her thoughts and she was embarrassed a bit to have been so rude towards him. If they met again, she would apologize for what she had said and done, but he seemed so snobby and a bit insensitive, he could have tried to be a bit nicer to her. Well, done was done and she was hoping for better luck another time, now Isola sat here with Alan, they drank whiskey and had fun. Typical that he showed up in her head now, when she wanted to talk to Alan, socialize and catch up with the things they had missed. She pulled up her bottle from her bag and took a big sip, grimacing and took another big gulp. Trying to drink away the image of him in her head. Isola turned to Alan. "So.. what's new?"

Isola seemed to be in a pensive mood, but that wasn't really anything new to him. She had a lot of thoughts racing through her mind all the time.
"What's new? Well... uh, not that much really and at the same time a hell of a lot!" He chuckled "That's awfully deep isn't it?" He opened another bottle of beer and took a mouthful as he thought about what had happened since last. "Well... the singer of my band died, the dumbass took up heroin and we both know how that ends" Images of his old friend raced through his mind as he went on "After his death we didn't really do anything for a month or so and when we got together we noticed things had gotten... well wierd. The drummer and bassist were both hooked smack and the other guitar player had just lost interest"
Alan stopped for a moment and drank some more beer, he looked at Isola and wondered for a second what she was thinking before he went on with his story "The funny thing I never saw DikMik again, you know that crazy guy with the big beard and glasses? The guy with the audio generator machine? Well as I said I never saw him again, he never showed up and I haven't seen him since". Alan was starting to feel a little bit drunk now, he had another taste of his beer and let out a big burp "Well anywho... My old band is no more so I'm actually trying to find people for a new one, wanna play the violin?" He smiled at her and winked.

"Nah, I don't know if I wanna play in a band anymore.." She shrugged her shoulders and shook her head, taking another big gulp of whiskey. The thought of playing in a band was not so appealing anymore, her confidence had been damaged a bit when Balthazar hadn't shown interest. But he was a rock star and she was just a little homeless girl, Balthazar wanted a talented, good looking person with charisma. But he was not finished with the auditions yet, perhaps there was a chance for her anyway. And the other one was still in Isolas thoughts but the image off him began to fade away the drunker she got. Isola drank half the bottle straight up and suddenly she got real tired and wanted to sleep. "I'm tired, Alien.." Was the last words she got out of her before she passed out on Alans shoulder and with the whiskey bottle in her hand.

"And there she went out like little candle..." Alan mumbled to himself. He took the bottle out of Isolas hand and put it on the floor beside the bed, he then carefully put one arm about her shoulders and lay her down on the bed. She was so very beautiful and precious, she was looking all cute and what not. He took her blanket and pulled it up over her shoulders and then he carefully got up from the bed and moved the candles from the shelf down on the table beside the matress. "Sleep tight little stargazer, sweet dreams" He whispered softly as he sat down on the floor across the room from the bed, he bundled up his jacket as a pillow and put his head on it.
Sitting there in the fading light from the candles he was watching Isola sleeping on her bed, he was wondering if she was dreaming something special and what it might be. He crawled over and blew out all the candles but one so they wouldn't all burn down completely.
