"Well because you should take care of nature..." Alan gave him an amused look "After all, this is practically where I live, I don't know about you but I don't to sleep in a dump... I've tried it and it really wasn't for me"
Alan took of his shoes and wiggled his toes around a bit and rubbed them for a while. He looked at Balthazar and thought about how he in some way reminded him of that Leo guy "You know you remind of someone I met earlier today... some scrawny young guy named Leo. Don't you think so too Stargazer?"

Isola just sat down when Alan asked her about Leo.
"Yeah, a bit. But you know each other, don't you Baltazar?"
She looked at him with a sly smile on her lips.
When Isola had lain on the grass and gazed at the stars she had time to think and suddenly she remembered why Leo seemed so familiar, he and Balthazar were old bandmates.

Balthazar tried not to show any emotions as both Alan and Isola mentioned Leo. Actually he didn't really know how he felt about it. He just wondered where and when they had met.
"Yeah, I know Leo. We were old band mates. But I don't know if we are that much alike though."

She said and looked in the same direction as Leo disappeared earlier.
Both acting like they have a huge stick up their asses, so much better then us others, Isola thought irritated to herself.
Although she liked Leo better, he was more her age, not as old as these two sitting next to her.
Well, didn't matter anyhow he didn't seem to be interested in her either.
And almost like she had read Balthazars mind she said:
"You just missed him, he left us all moody and stuff, then we ended up here."

"Well somehow you reminded me of him but if it is because of similar styles or something else... I don't know really" He scratched his head and looked over at Isola when she mentioned the way Leo just left them "Yeah he just ran off like rats on a sinking vessel" Alan winked at Isola and smiled.
"So you're old bandmates huh? He mentioned something about playing in a band... can't remember the name though, as a matter of fact I can't really remember if he told me" Alan smiled a bit at his own bad memory "My memory has it's ups and downs".

Balthazar just smirked at the thought of Leo just running off like that, like a rat on a sinking vessel, as Alan so poetically put it. Yep, that was his Leo all right.
"Yeah we were, in Angels at Night. Strange if he didn't tell you. He loves the limelight."
He smiled again at the thought of Leo.

Isola snorted when she thought how rude Leo had been when he just ran off like that, yet she almost wished that he could come back. So that he and Balthazar could go away and leave the bench to Alan and Isola.
If they were snobbish to them she could be it right back.
She didn't like Balthazar, sure he was very handsome but he had rejected her time after time and to a girl in that age, well.. He had his chance.
"Hey, why don't you go find him? He went that way.."
Isola said to Balthazar with a hint of sarcasm in her voice and pointed to the direction Leo went.

"He did actually come off as kind of... well impressed by himself or something, but then again if you were famous a pretty-boy like him probably had girls chasing after him most of the time" Alan laughed as he thought about it.
"He was nice enough to take me to a pub though where I met this little wonder" He pointed at Isola as he said it "But he didn't have a drink with us, he almost hurt my feelings a little bit" Alan wiped away an imagined teardrop but then smiled and looked at Isola as he continued "Yeah we weren't his cup of tea I guess, or what do you think Stargazer?"

"Yeah.. " She answered abscent.
Isola wasn't paying very much attention to what he said, she fiddled with her new necklace and hummed a on a song* she had in her head all day long.

Balthazar too laughed a bit, at the very good description of Leo.
"Yeah, he sure had. And you shouldn't worry about that drink. It's just one of his little quirks."
Since he became a vampire he thought for himself, but he didn't want anyone to wonder why he was so rude.

Alan scoffed at the last remark about Leo, it might just be one of his quirks but nevertheless... if someone asks you for the way to a pub and you decide to take them to one, it sure is rude not to have a drink with them.
"Quirks..." he thought for himself and let the subject drop.
He looked at Isola and then at Balthazar and then back again, there seemed to some kind of tension between the two. He couldn't really read any kind of emotion from Balthazar but knowing Isola it was fairly obvious she was pretty uncomfortable in his company.
"SO, you two know each other... how exactly?" he raised one eyebrow and looked back and forth at the two.

Balthazar looked at Isola and waited for her to answer Alan, but when he noticed she wasn't listening, and hummed that song, he rolled his eyes and turned to Alan again.
"We... Met once, and she auditioned for my new band."
he answered quite simple.

"aha... OH!" Alan exclaimed as he suddenly remembered Isola telling about the audition she went to. "I remember you told me about the audition back at the bar, Stargazer" he smiled at Isola and, looking back a Balthazar, continued "So Mr. Nice-to-meet-you... is she in the band? You can tell me, I promise I won't tell anyone" Alan gave Balthazar a rougish smile and winked at him.

"There is no point, Alan .. I know I'm not in the band."
Isola first looked at Alan and then at Balthazar with a crooked smile on her lips.
"Because in that case you had contacted me, right? And we have met more than once .. 3 times if I remember correctly. Unfortunately, I was not Mr. Balthazar type either. Propably too crazy and too homeless..
She laughed that the two men who also knew each other, both had turned down her company.
But the laughter was to mask the fact that she had been hurt that both men had said no to her.
