"no, no gig... well not that I know of anyway" Alan scratched his head a little and tried to remember anything like that but he couldn't so he just shook his head and said "I'm just moving around, trying to see if I can find this girl... she could play violin really well and I have some ideas for that"
"well, nevermind then... I'll probably run into her sooner or later. So where's this pub anyway?"

Leo's eyebrow lowered into a monumental frown as he looked at Alan. "Well I'm sorry to say this, but you're probably not gonna get any gigs unless you know people... or if you play on the steet or something..?" he have the man a questioning glance and then looked forward as he walked. When Alan mentioned the violin Leo thought for a moment of Bazz. Perhaps them violinists know each other. "I might know somebody who knows her...but it's a big maybe. Sort of depends on what clubs she goes to and such." "The pub's probably just around the bend" he said in a calm voice since it didn't feel any stress.

"I'm not here for any gigs as I said" Alan wondered if Leo took him for some kind of moron "...and besides I've been playing in different bands for quite some time, arranging concerts and what not so I'm not really as lost as I might seem" He chuckled a little at his last remark and said "I know most people just see me as a washed up junkie with no brain left hehe"
"I wouldn't know much about what kind of clubs she goes to... she didn't seem like the kind of person who really goes to clubs. I don't like them much myself, too much bad music"

"Okay, I just thought since you said that you didn't really know..." Leo didn't really feel like explaining himself. Instead he just threw a smile at the stranger as he joked a bit about himself. "Haha, you're not the only one who gets that. Or... I don't think people suspect me of being a junkie, but some sure seem to think that just because I'm a crow-loving kind of guy, I mist be a no-brainer." He waved his hands around as he spoke, gesturing how he would greet a crowd and doing the general "coo-coo" sign above his head as he said no-braner.
"Oh, I always thought musicians were pretty prone to go on clubs and pubs. But you do have a point. Though it means that she probably doesn't know my friend, since he goes to clubs a lot. He likes to...ehm...meet people". He frowned a little as he tried to express what Baz did at them places, but it would have to do.

"Well people are a bunch of dimwits most of the time so I just don't mind, come to think of it I don't even notice anymore to be honest" He moved his guitarcase to the other hand as it started getting a bit heavy and trudged on.
"I tend to just stay clear of all the hip clubs, especially since they don't want me there anymore than I do" Alan whistled a stump and pointed towards a pub further down the street and asked "Is that the place?"

His eyebrows lowered for a brief moment as he watched Alan, then he delivers his rather naive answer. "Yes, but we do have to live amongst these 'Dimwits' so I find it hard to ignore them. Most of the time I just try to make the best of things. Try to have a good time and all, you know." Then he listened and nodded at the mans question. He hadn't really thought of A bar or pub, be just assumed that there would be one somewhere around here. "If you think it's good enough, I guess so" He said with a little grin, since Alan seemed to have some preferences. Leo walked up to the pub and stated that it didn't look too crummy at least.

"We do I guess, more or less anyway. Living like I do you don't have to deal with them all too much but then again this isn't really for everyone... living on the road I mean"
"Right now anywhere is good enough" He had gotten REALLY thirsty by now "You're right, it doesn't look to fancy either so maybe I can even afford seconds" Alan smiled at the thought of a cold beer and pushed the door open and stepped inside.

Isola had sought shelter in the pub from the pouring rain outside, she sat down on a barstool, ordered a cheap whiskey and took of her soaked sweater so she wouldn't catch a cold. For a normal person with a home it was nothing but for a homeless person it could be very severe with a fever, her white top and ordinary black jeans would have to dry from her bodyheat. The bartender gave her the whiskey and she took a tiny sip and made a face when the bitter drink slid down her throat and luckily she had the money to pay for the drink, earlier that day she had found a purse packed with money. She had sat in the pub for a while and the warmth in her body had started to come back when Isola heard the door open , out of curiosity she turned her head to see what kind of people came through this time and to her own surprise she jumped out of the chair, threw her arms around Alans neck and gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek. "Alien, I've missed you.." She said with a wide smile on her lips, after Isola stopped hugging Alan and calmed herself down she saw the man behind him, suddenly she got very, very shy.

Inside the pub the light was quite dim so Alan didn't see the girl who jumped on him so he first got kind of startled. "Whoaah there" he exclaimed completely surprised and when he recognized his "attacker" he put on a big smile and said "Why hello there stargazer, haven't seen you for a long time... I actually missed you and came here looking for you!" Alan looked deeply at Isolas face and smiled at her, he noticed that she suddenly got quit and seemed shy when she caught a glimpse of Leo behind him "This bloke make you nervous? Don't mind him love, he's quite allright actually"
He stepped aside so she could see him properly and said to Leo "This is the girl I was telling you about" he looked at Isola again "I was asking him if he maybe knew you since I was looking for you, but now I've found you haven't I" Alan smiled again at the memory of the first time they met "So how have you been Stargazer?"

(sorry for the late answer, it's been a very busy week)
Leos vision wasn't much affected by the change of lighting as they stepped into the bar. The little creature with white blond hair strock his fancy, probably because she had a wet white top clinging on to her body. He har just connected her funny facial expression with the whiskey and was about to make a move when she jumped up. She jumped as Alan though. Leo sighed. Alans talk of drinking had made him thirsty, in his own kind of way, and he still hadn't learn how much he needed to drink to feel good. It sort of depended on how repulsive or fascinated he was by the process. For now he was neither and she had reminded him of that. But how the hell would he be able to feed with that hippie around? He looked a bit sour as he tried to push a smile thru, though he wondered why he did so since he really didn't have any need for charms right now. As Alan chatted her up he looked around and didn't notice the sudden change in her behavioir as she saw him. It wasn't until Alan spoke to him that his eyes once again turned to them. He looked at Alan, then at the girl, quite confound with why she had all of a sudden turned shy. Perhaps she just was one of those who doesn't like strangers. He studied her while Alan talked of how he and Leo met. Though he didn't listen that close, the wet clinging clothes was a bit too amusing. "Nice to meet you 'Stargazer'" He said the name with slight annoyance, thinking that she was yet another hippie. "I bet you have some catching up to do, so I'll just take a look around, cause I think I saw an familiar face". He made a very slight bow, pushed himself past them and disappeared.

(It's all gooood!)
"It's Isola, not Stargazer." Was all she could say before the stranger disappeared into the back of the pub, what an odd man she thought to herself as she turned around and hugged Alan again. "I've been good, had an audition for a band and now I am waiting for an answer. How have you been, Alien-Alan?" Somehow she could't concentrate on Alan and glanced in the direction where Alan newfound friend had gone. The reason why she had become shy that she was noticed how he had looked at her and had become very aware of how she looked in her wet clothes, especially as she had nothing underneath her top. Isola crossed her arms to prevent more people from seeing through her clothes, that Alan had seen it she didn't care so much about, he was almost like a brother to her.

Alan walked over to the bar and order a beer while digging out the money from his pockets. He looked at Isola again and said "Well besides police harassment I've been great, they stopped me and the band I've been playing with when we were driving home from a gig and of course they had to search our entire van but they didn't find anything since we had swallowed all the pills we were carrying" Alan took his beer from the bartender and chugged down half of it and wiped his mouth with his sleeve "I needed that, I haven't been this thirsty for ages... anyway, they didn't find our pills but took our drummer because he had a little of pot on him. So when the cops drove off with our drummer we hurried home before the pills really kicked in and then we had a REALLY strange night I tell you"
He took another moutful of his beer and looked at Isola again "So you've auditioned for a band?"

"Alien, you shouldn't do drugs. You know how I feel about that." Isola wagged her finger at him and pretended to be angry but couldn't hold it for long and started to laugh. She squeezed some water out of her hair with one hand and the other one still covering where the top revealed her privates. "Yeah, Devils at Dawn. The singer used to be in another band called Angels at Night, I've never heard of them until now." She drank up the rest of her whiskey, ordered a new one and two large glasses of beer, one for her and one for Alan. Isola glanced once again in the direction where the Alans blonde friend had gone and kind of wished that he would come back. "So..who's your new friend?"

Leo sat down further back in room beside an older man, whom he bougth a beer. The old seemed happy about the fact that this stranger wanted to keep him company. Leo told him that he was expecting some friends but didn't want to be alone until they came. The old man, named Gary, nodded in understanding and started talking about all the times he'd done the same. Thru his slight lisping Leo listened half by half to the conversations that were going on in the room. He looked at Isola, slightly wondering how she had survived with them clothes. Perhaps homeless people didn't care about such things. Sure, Leo wasn't very picky with how people dressed, but that was extreme. But then again, there are people in this world who seem to unawarely put them selves in bad situations. He thought of this and looked at Gary again. The mentioning of "Devils at Dawn" made him laugh a bit surprised, which old Gary seemed to enjoy. Leos looket at Isola again, having a hard time not to laugh. Gary looked at him. "Did my old ears miss out on something good?" Leo smiled at the old man and answered. "No old man, just some dumb chick talking of silly things."

"Well... life itself isn't all too good for me all the time either but I don't stop living haha" Alan rubbed his nose when it started running.
Alan was happy he found Isola again, she was a breath of fresh air compared to his other friends who were more like him but Isola on the other hand was like a hand full of shooting stars or something... all full of life and what-not. Thing is she made him feel younger than he was so he really enjoyed her company and she was also a very funny "lady". Alan chuckled a little at himself as he thought of her as a "lady", she sure didn't look the part in her wet clothes but he never did like fancy people much anyway so he didn't mind. "You can borrow me sweater if you want, my coat kept it all dry and it's too warm for me now anyway" Alan pulled it off and handed it over to her and asked "My new friend? Oh, that Leo fellow... don't know much about him really I just met him an hour ago or so when I hopped off the train in the tube, you seem to be about the same age and he seems to think I'm kind of a silly pothead but he's allright I guess" Alan looked down, made a crying noise and rubbed his eyes but looked up at Isola again with a laugh "Why are you so curious all of a sudden stargazer?" He smiled at her when he said it.
