"I'm not saying my life is perfect, just that I'm not so sure it is bad enough to qualify complaint. I mean, my apartment is one room at a campus, I work at a library and I don't have much of a social life." Simone looked at her glass, shrugged and nodded. "Sure, but you can chose to see it as, I have an apartment, I have a job and I keep busy. All good things."

Balthazar poured some wine into Simone's glass and then put it back on the little table. "You may always complain, however perfect your life is."

"Things are what you make them. I prefer to pretend I'm happy with the way things are. Thank you." She took a light sip before putting the glass back on it's place. "I'm not sure you're one to talk though, the only thing I've ever heard you express concern with are Leo and Jean." When she said it she did sort of wonder what happened to Ice though. And why the hell he had called himself Ice.

"Oh, well I have nothing else to complain about. They are enough. Thank you." He smirked.

"If that's true, then I'd like to claim your life is pretty much as close to perfect as you get."

With a throw of his hair he answered: "Why of course." He looked around a bit and then asked: "So, what else do you do on a girls night in. I'm not a girl, so I don't know."

"Classically I'd say it's beauty treatments, talking about guys, watch girly movies and play stupid games. But since there's just two of us, and you're pretty secretive... Truth or dare seems rather pointless."

"Try me. I dare you" He laughed as he found himself quite funny.

Simone sighed loudly and somewhat exaggerative at the dry humor, but still followed the joke up with a very grave voice. "Truth or dare?"

Balthazar just smirked at her sigh and thought for a moment before answering. "Truth."

She fell silent thinking. Most of her questions seemed rude, since she was pretty sure he wouldn't want to answer... But that was the point of the game... "Why did Angels at Night break up? Really?" Se had read theories online and in papers, but she had this feeling it was sort of love related.

Balthazar sighed and looked up at the ceiling as he was thinking. He should have known she would ask that, and he could just lie of course, but felt that was just wrong, and just... left out some parts of the story He looked at Simone again and answered her. "Leo..." He paused as he didn't really know how to continue. "Went crazy, I suppose. He fell in love with Jean and showed his love in very... strange ways. And Jean couldn't, and shouldn't, take that. So she left. And then Leo, and Ice." He opened his mouth again as if he was about to speak, but closed it again, feeling that was enough, and looked questioning at Simone.

Simone suddenly looked very compassionate and decided that this was the time for the hug part of a girly relationship. "I'm sorry Balthazar."

Balthazar laughed a bit confused as he thought she overreacted but hugged her back. "It's all right. Really. So, was it as you had thought?"

"I suppose, with one pretty big difference. If people knew a lot of fangirls would be disappointed." She said with a smile. "If you want you can ask me an invasive question too?"
