"Of course, I forgot. World renowned rock musician and professional blood hound. It all makes sense now." She stood up with a toothy smile, deciding that she did actually like the smell of roses, even though she hadn't much thought about it before. Simone had always been more for rounder scents than flowers, like cinnamon or vanilla. But she soon came to the conclusion that she should let that train of thought go. "Would it give you a sensory shock if you were to actually stick your nose amongst the roses as well? Should we keep on moving?"

"I guess it would, but it's gentle smell, so I think I would survive." He nodded at her suggestion. "Sure." He made a gesture for her to walk further into the garden.

"It's a gentle shock, well that's comforting to hear." She followed the direction of the gesture, walking deeper in amongst the roses, occasionally stopping to read the little sign which specified what species of rose it was.

Balthazar followed Simone, some steps behind, watching her look at the roses, reading the signs. He couldn't really put his finger on his feelings towards her. She was real nice, and he enjoyed spending time with her. She was so... natural. So human. Normally he didn't care for the whole... human thing, if it wasn't for the person being special (and of course, the blood). He wondered if the reason for him not to have killed her, was that he cared too much for her, or just didn't care. She seemed so harmless, it was just no point in... harming her. Or jumping her bones for that matter, but that wasn't something he didn't usually did anyway, although Jean would have loved to see that. He shook his head to shake away the thoughts. She was nice to spend time with anyway, why think more about it?

Having looked back to see if he was coming with (was it only her, or did he move very quietly?) Simone could swear there was something strange about the way he was looking at her, not much unlike an entomologist looking at a bug through a loupe.
The girl decided she couldn't much judge however, since she had caught herself looking at him in a similar fashion, trying to decipher his behavior and who he was. Which had turned out to be harder than she thought. Although Looking at a piece of old pottery might have been more fitting an analogy, with her major kept in mind.
"Do you like roses?" Simone decided to try and lift the atmosphere somewhat by the mundane question.

She had asked the question just as he had tried to get out of his thoughts about her, and he nodded, although he didn't really knew if she saw that in the dark. "Yes. And I presume you do to?" He went over to her, and looked at the roses she had been looking at.

"What girl doesn't like flowers? Roses aren't my favorites, but they're nice." She decided to take one of the nearby flowers in her hand and smell that one too. "And they decidedly have a nice scent."

Balthazar reached down to the stalk of the rose she held in her hand, and snapped it off easily, and gave it to her. "There." He said as if he helped her, without a change in his face. "Which are your favorites then?"

"I'm not sure you're supposed to do that." She said, but still smiled and bobbed her head in a gesture of gratitude. "I don't know. Daisies I think, I always quite liked them." Not counting her dark and gloomy period when she wouldn't admit to it.

Isola was in the park as usual and to cope with her lifestyle she was drunk, as usual. She inhaled the scent of night air and the roses while she was dancing around in her worn out dark grey dress and was in generally good mood until she heard someone talking nearby. Isola felt a strong desire to have a little fun and she crept closer to where the voices were heard. Without seeing who it was who spoke, she jumped out of the bushes behind the people, holding out her hands like a gun and exclaimed: Stand and deliver!

"Well, I don't give a damn." He said smiling and nodded and shrugged. "Yes, I guess they're okay." Balthazar had heard someone in the nearby, but had not cared enough to sense it was Isola, and was not prepared for what she did, but was not startled. He turned to her, to see what her reaction would be when she saw it was him.

Simone was actually so startled that she dropped the rose while doing a 180 degrees spin to face the new company. She did calm down a bit when it was a girl in a dress an with her hands held as a gun though. Nohardly as intimidating as some of the things she imagined being behind her.

Isolas little smirk vanished from her lips when she saw who it was she had crept up on. But when she saw that he had company, Isola decided to behave a little. In a little girlish way she curtsied and apologized and then Isola greeted Balthazar and his female companion and disguised her voice. "How do you do, sir, and milday?"

Balthazar thought Simone was going to have a heart attack when she got startled, and he could hear her heart begin to race. He grabbed her shoulder to calm her down and laughed a bit at the whole situation. He nodded at Isola without letting go of Simone. "We're fine, thank you."

Simone gave Balthazar an appreciative look to tell him she was okay. The girl seemed pretty drunk. "Can we help you somehow?"
