"Strange?" Isola smiled a little smile and rolled her eyes quickly when she finished her first glass of whiskey. She took the second glass and drank a sip while she wondered what she would say. The atmosphere was a bit strange and tense and she felt stupid because she wasn't good at figuring out a subject to talk about. He seemed to be the quiet type who let others do the talking and Isola was the same. Perhaps she would go and find somewhere where she could spend the night, soon all the good sleeping quarters would be taken and she had to sleep on a park bench as usual. And then she swept the second glass of whiskey, it gave a good buzz and it could come in handy if she were to sleep outside. "So .. I'll probably go .. and do something." Isola got up, took her belongings and started walking towards the door.

"No, not strange." He just said, and as they fell silent, Balthazar decided to read Isola's mind. He smiled as she thought about the same things as he would have, if he weren't so busy reading hers. As Isola got up and started to walk away, Balthazar asked: "Going so soon?"

She didn't really know what to say, it felt a bit awkward to say that she didn't want to sit and talk about nothing in a sleezy pub. Actually she wanted to do something else but Isola didn't want to fuck up her chances in joining the band, she didn't know him that well either. For all she knew he could kill her and drink her blood. Oh, stop with the crazy vampire-idea, she thought angry to herself. Besides, he didn't seem at all interested, so she might as well be on a park bench and watch the stars. Isola had to go out and to cool herself down, the whiskey had started to work and as all drunk of people, she was without inhibitions.. And he looked so handsome, it was hard for her to focus on something else, especially now with the booze clouding her head. "Yeah .. I must go now, before I do anything I regret.. So.. see ya!" She smiled at Balthazar, feeling like a complete idiot when she turned and walked out the door.

Balthazar laughed for himself as he thought perhaps he shouldn't have bought her that last whiskey. And reading her mind didn't make it better. He smiled, but gave her quite a degrading look, like "poor little drunk girl." As she got up and walked out of the pub, Balthazar too got up, threw some money to the bartender, and went out too. Considering her thoughts, she didn't really wanted to be alone, so he figured she wouldn't hate him for following her. He came out of the pub laughing.

Isola stopped a short distance from the pub and wondered where she would go when she heard someone laugh behind her, Isola glanced back and saw Balthazar come out from the pub. She wondered where he was going but decided to not find out, instead she started to go back to the park. To be a homless and a drunk was more than enough, she didn't want be considered a stalker too.

Balthazar ran over to Isola, still laughing, but let it cling out as he reached her, and grabbed her arm to make her stop. "Isola, you are clearly drunk, I don't feel safe letting you sleep out here in that state.

She turned around and said with a calm voice "I'm not drunk, I'm just a little tipsy .." while she gently tried to break free from his grip. Isola didn't need his pity, although it was nice when he grabbed her arm like that. She stopped resisting and looked him straight in the face. "Well, where else am I going to sleep then?

Balthazar let go of her arm as she stopped struggle. He got out his wallet from his back pocket of his jeans and took out about a hundred pounds. "For a hotel" he said holding out the money to her.

Isola looked surprised at the money that Balthazar held out. "Yeah right a hotel, thanks but no thanks. Unless you want to keep me company?"

Balthazar kept holding out the money. "Why not? Think. And warm bed to sleep in." Balthazar thought about her question. Was that the only think she could think of? He shook his head a bit.

Isola saw how he shooked his head at her question. "No I did not mean that in a sexual way, I just don't like hotel rooms. They're creepy. So you can keep your money!" She turned around sulking, yet another setback. Right now she felt so frustrated, she didn't know how she would behave towards Balthazar.

Balthazar lowered his chin, and looked meaningly at Isola. As she turned around, again, Balthazar grabbed her arm, again laughing. He took her hand and laid the money in it, closing it. "Come on now, you are so stubborn!"

Isola looked at the money that was in her hand, his head and saw Balthazar in his eyes. "You honestly think that I would waste money on a hotel room?" She looked down at the money again and placed them in his pocket. "I do not need your pity."

"Fine." He didn't pick up the money again to try and make her take it. He just shrugged his shoulders, and dug down his hands in his pockets of his black jeans.

"Fine" she answered back with a snappy tone in her voice. And just when Isola turned around to walk away, she tripped on her own feet and fell like pine with her face down, she could feel her lips burst as it hit the ground and with her face still toward the ground she muttered: " I hate you". It wasn't meant directly at Balthazar, more to God. Because if he excisted, he had one hell of a sense of humor.
