Balthazar took the coat he had hung on the back of the chair and put it on before heading to the door, that he held up for Li Mei to exit. He made a gesture with his hand and said without any change of expression in his face: "Ladies first."

"Thank you" she said smiling and slipped out through the door that Balthazar held up so politely. "It's nice to know that there are some gentlemen left in the world."

"I guess it's a old habit." He smiled at Li Mei, closed the door behind them and started walking down the street. It was a street parallel to a large one, so not crowded, but still populated. "So, what do you feel like tonight?"

Balthazar smiled amused at Li Mei, and thought for a moment before answering. "Good choice. But I think I'll go for Italian tonight."

"I'm usually just go for one thing, but I don't think I will be so hard to find anywhere, actually." (Just... Just... Just take a moment here... What was I thinking? Was I thinking at all? Seriously, just... Look at it. Look at it! Ah!) He looked around and then turned to Li Mei again. "I actually think I've found you dinner already." He nodded towards an Indian boy not far from them and smiled.
