Blah, Blah, Blah

[Sarah Winters]

(Don't really know where I'm going with this. Let's just... See...)

Sarah had finally gotten some humans to her club, thanks to Simone, and it had been open a couple of nights already. She had Isola and Tom to bartend, and they seemed to do a pretty good job. The money was coming in nicely. Perhaps some day she'd have the money to buy some new furniture. The ones she got now was a bit dated. So last year.
Sarah went over to the bar, leaning on it, speaking to whoever listened. Or Isola really
”It's a good night tonight.”
She smiled.
Old regulars were coming back, but also some new people. And not only humans, vampire as well.

[Isola]

Last time Isola had met Sarah and Tom it had got a little heated and now she was ashamed of what she had said and how she had behaved.
She had been considering her situation after the suicide attempt and found that she had to pour the booze down the drain and try to do what Tom had told her if she wanted to survive.
She hoped that he was right and Sarah would tire of the cat-and-mouse-game. She dared not say anything to Tom in addition to polite conversation and buried herself in work when Sarah unexpectedly came up to the bar.
"Yeah, full house" Isola said awkwardly, busying herself the drinks.

Always cheerful, talkative Isola.
"Keep up the good work and there might be a raise in it for you."
She raised her eyebrows and looked knowingly at Isola.
Sarah were the host for the vampires, so kept an eye out for them, but it was calm for now. The calm before the storm she hoped.

[Isola]

"What do you mean?" Isola asked as she stumbled on behind the bar.

[Sarah Winters]

"I just mean what I say."
A couple of vampires comes up to Sarah, and she greats them, and they small talk a bit, before they go get something to eat, and then Sarah turns to Isola again.
"Just makes sure that everyone is happy."
She gives Isola another knowing glance, but not as obvious this time.

[Isola]

Isola frowned in confusion but added an uncertain smile and nodded.
"Of course." She replied with hesitation as she shrugged of her intuition that the promotion or raise that Sarah talked about probably wasn't a good thing.
"I'll do my very best." Isola promised and went back to tending the bar and costumers.
