Having came home from Sarah's place, Simone was actually happy to see that Balthazar wasn't there. It had been a tiresome night and getting to be alone for a while would do her well. To be honest she wasn't certain they weren't moving too fast, but pushing those thoughts out of her head she soon sat down by her computer.
If she was to find people to willingly become some vampire's dinner in a week, she had to get started. Simone was certain there had been stranger ads written, and more creepy mails sent, but certainly not by her, and she ended up having to sit there better part of the evening, researching everything from british law to amenia.

After Simone had left, Balthazar too left the apartment, feeling a need to get out of that tiny space, and also feed. When he came back he noticed Simone was back too. He took off his coat and boots and went over to her where she was sitting by the computer and he hugged her and kissed her neck as a sweet greeting. "What are you doing?"

Simone smiled, but sighed loudly at the question. "Looking for crazy people. One would think it would be easy online, but finding the right type of crazy seems more difficult. Where have you been?"

"I was just out getting something to drink." He wrinkled his forehead in confusion. "What kind of crazy people are you looking for? And... Why?"

Pulling her fingers through her hair in frustration she leaned back in her chair. "The kind of crazy that likes vampires. Because life is cruel and I have student loans that could feed a small underdeveloped country for a year?"

"You're... ordering food from the internet? And wouldn't you need to pay for that, and not the other way around?"

"It's not for me." She told him, thinking that would be obvious. She wasn't that creepy. "The high and mighty doesn't like to find their own food, I suppose."

He was happy it was not for her, but it was still strange. "The high and mighty?" He thought for a moment before continuing. "...Sarah?"

"Or whoever is in their turn paying Sarah." Of which she hoped she would meet none, but probably would. "I've never felt like such a creep in my entire life, but it's better than the alternative."

Balthazar looked a bit disgusted. He couldn't help it. "You're doing Sarah's dirty work?"

"Well it's better than Sarah doing Sarah's dirty work, isn't it?" Simone responded to his disgusted look with an annoyed one.

"No, no it's not. How did you end up doing this anyway?" He didn't really know how to respond, since he just thought she must be kidding him.

"I needed a job, Sarah would hire me. I hate drunk people and I rather did this job than had them kidnapping people." She gestured at her computer as she spoke. "And it's darn well better than the alternative."

Balthazar smiled exasperated, but went serious quickly again. She seemed serious alright. "Anything is better than this! You are not working for Sarah." He crossed his arms.

"Last time I checked, I am." She didn't cross her arms, but she turned her chair around so that she could properly face him.
