Simone was starting to wonder if she should stop letting her class mates drag her out like this, or if she maybe should start leaving earlier. She always had a nice time in the beginning of the evening, until everybody else got completely hammered and she was still more or less sober. Usually just in time for the tube to close, leaving her to try and get home through bus.
That was pretty much where she was now, only she had stopped on the way to get something to eat, which had sadly left her vulnerable to a very drunken man about twice her age. Smiling politely she had already tried to tell him he wasn't interested three times while waiting for her food, and together with chafing high heels she was beginning to get into quite the bad mood.

Leo strutted down the sidewalk, newly eaten and in a splendid mood, humming the good ol song Little boxes. Though the expression of little boxed and the people within them had changed over time, people still seemed rather predictable. It was not late at night and most people were by this hour drunk and trying to get home. Some even too drunk to realize that they needed to go home. He rounded a corner and studied the scenery of giggling girls, swaying on their high-heels while guys with no good intention stared at them. Leo couldn't help but smile. A part of him missed being one of them, another part definitely didn't. There was however a girl that didn't seem to sway, and funny as it may seem, that girl had been targeted by a drunken man. Leo smiled a bit too himself, time to act as a gentleman. He made course towards them, coming up behind the man, he recognized the girl and his smile broadened. "Excuse me for intruding. But am I supposed to leave you alone with this guy as well? I seem to have got it all wrong last time, so I thought I'd ask this time around" He said with a polite but slightly mocking smile while looking at Simone, ignoring the drunk man completely.

Sighing heavily she wished she could just get her meal and find her bus as this man once more reminded her why she didn't allow herself to get intoxicated. Didn't get better when a familiar face popped up in front of her (and unlike him she didn't need time to recognize him). She hadn't liked him when she met him, and since she had just started to dislike him more through conversation with Balthazar. "I never asked you to leave us alone last time. I rather tried to stay out of your disagreement."

Leo tilted his head slightly and frowned, not quite seeing how she could be so bitter when he was attempting to save her from a situation which she was most unlikely to enjoy. "Yes...But the disagreement was about you..so...?" He shrugged and turned half by half around to walk away, but looked over his shoulder at her and added with a smirk. "I guess that means you want me to go?...and leave you with this..." he nodded towards the drunk man.

She pursed her lips somewhat, looking over at her company. "I wasn't saying that. Although there was really no need to fight because of me to begin with." Simone made an effort to use a nicer voice than she had initially, not only was it polite, but it might also scare away her pursuer if she had company. "Me and Balthazar are just friends. Never been anything but." She assured him in a try to sound comforting, assuming the fight had been a result of jealousy (no matter how unfounded).

Leo smirk got a bit bitter and his tone as well. "That can be discussed..." he said and then frowned again as she spoke. He looked for a moment at Simone and then laughed for a spell. "Oh really, I thought you were his chewing-toy" he smiled, very amused by the fact that Simone seemed to think he and Bazz had some sort of history together...Which they sort of had...but Leo didn't look at it that way. He turned towards her again and leaned against a wall, wondering if he should do something fun with the way Simone thought things were.

"We mostly hang out, watch movies and talk. No chewing involved." Simone once again made clear. First off she wasn't sure she was into the whole biting thing. "I really don't think I'm his type." She added with a small smile.

Leo listened and nodded with a confident smile. "Yes, yes...I don't know if anybody's his type...honestly" He just said, with slight irony and then looked towards the street. "How about taking a walk, or do you have to stand still to eat?"

Simone seemed to hesitate, but as she got her fish and chips to go she threw an eye at her current company (who didn't seem to really be that bothered by Leo's presence) and so nodded. "Sure. Let's go." She then began walking down the street in the direction of both her bus stop and home.

Leo walked beside her and threw a glance at the man they left behind, whom seemed to be half asleep by now. Funny things really that once upon a time that could have been him. "So...how come you're all sober and cheery?" He said with a grin.

"I don't enjoy being intoxicated, I'm completely fine with just getting a bit warm." She didn't know about cheery though, but that might chance as she now had food in her hands. "Would you like some?" Simone asked, to be polite.

Leo nodded and was about to drag up one of his old memories of how amusing alcohol could be...But he didn't think she'd appreciate it. "Warm?" Sort of wondering since he associated warmth with alkohol...or...hm... He then looked at the food, sort of wondering if he should taste it. He hadn't eaten fish'n'chips in a really long time. "I think I'll pass...but thanks" he just said, thinking that perhaps it was best to keep that taste as a memory...in case it would taste different now... It was funny though, he hadn't thought about food in a long time. He never hung out with humans in the way that they would offer him food... It sounded sort of funny but somehow it was logical. He hadn't eaten food in a long time. Maybe he should try some...or...hm... He was sort of lost in his own thoughts, slightly frowning.

"Well, you know, just a drink or maybe two throughout the night, just enough for you to get warm and relaxed, but not enough to start belching out the tracks of My Fair Lady." As he said no to her offer, she picked up the plastic fork and began to eat herself, although rather slowly since she was walking and didn't want to end up with food all over her face with only one napkin to spare.

Leo laughed a bit at the scenario. "I see...though I think one can sing such songs without being totally drenched" He smiled, though he didn't really know what My fair lady's songs sounded like. He just remembered the poster he had seen at some time. He didn't like musicals all that much actually.. "I wouldn't sing My fair lady...if i was...hm...however..." He thoughtfully tapped his chin a few times. "Do you sing, at all?" He asked bluntly and added a smile.

"That might be because you can sing." She had no idea if he could, it was just a guess. Musicians could all sing, couldn't they? More or less. "Theoretically I can, but it might get confused with the sound of a cat getting run over. So I try not to. For the sake of the ears of my peers and my own ego."
