Suddenly Baz was blocking Ices path, making him take a surprised step back. "N-no, of c-course not." He said in a pleading tone. "B-Baz, I d-did'nt m-mean..." He took another small step back. Of course he'd meant what he said, but he hadn't meant for Baz to ever find out what he really thought. And right now Baz was scaring him. He was afraid to get hurt. Not because Baz was a vampire, no, it wasn't his vampyric powers he was afraid of, but his words. He didn't want to hear how Baz blamed him, how it was all his fault because of what he did with Jean, and how he hurt Leo. He couldn't take to hear it out loud, especially from Baz. It had been a stupid idea for him to go here. "B-Baz, p-please." he said, still backing away.

Balthazar tried to not look so intimidating as he saw Ice getting a bit scared. He hadn't meant to. "Yes, you did mean it, Ice. Just say whatever you want to say and get it over with." Baz did not consider himself the one that had broken up the band. If anyone was to blame it was Leo, in Baz's opinion, but he had let it go. Ice clearly hadn't gotten over the break up.

"N-no, Baz, I re-really di-didn't!" he said desperately, trying to fight off the tears that stood in his eyes. He really didn't want to start crying too, in front of Baz of all people. "I-I was up-upset, I d-didn't know wh-what I w-was sa-saying." Now he was really lying, but he was willing to do anything just to get out of here. He wasn't fit for this kind of confrontation, not at all. "P-please." he begged again, not really caring how pathetic he looked.

Balthazar still believed he did mean it. No-one says something like that and doesn't mean it, but it seemed there were no point in trying to make Ice talk. He sighed just slightly and made a way for Ice to walk through the door, leaning against the doorpost with his arms crossed. "I won't make you stay." He looked at Ice with disappointment.

Ice could have fainted with relief when Baz finally moved out of the way. He was just squeezing past him when he decided to give mending everything one last try. "F-for wh-what it's worth," he said, looking somewhere around the area of Baz' navel, "i-it t-truly was g-great s-seeing you again." Without looking up he squeezed himself through and began walking down the stairs leading from Baz' flat.

"And I'm glad you came, although you are leaving in such a hurry. We should do this again sometime." Clearly being sarcastic. "And for what it's worth, I wasn't the one that broke up the band. Leo was. There was nothing I could do." He just had to have that said.

Ice could hear Baz shouting after him, but after his sarcastic comment about meeting again he sort of went 'lalalalalala' in his head to shut out whatever it was Baz wanted to say. He couldn't help but hear something about breaking up the band and Leo, but he really didn't want to hear it. He took the last couple of stairs in a run, the tears threatening to spill over. At last he finally was on the bus home and could sit back with the sunglasses covering his face as the tears ran freely down his cheeks.
