"You're not fooling me that easily, he admitted to it during a discussion of mythology." Although she was sticking to the adjective of adorable rather than silly. "I'm keeping it in the back of my head for a rainy day, you know." Maybe she should stop bringing up inside jokes with Balthazar when Leo was there, so... "So what good memories do you feel the strongest about?" Simone asked him. She did not notice Leo doing any strange gestures behind her back.

Balthazar could almost not stop himself from laughing at Leo as he made his little gestures, and remembered that day he had actually done it. "Yeah, that's just silly. Really. But I'm glad I can be of help anyway." He gave Leo a look, and sighed as he looked around again. He smiled at the many different memories, but couldn't really pick one. It was mostly "you had to be there"-memories.

Bazz's reaction or attempt to not react was more than amusing and made him eager to push the subject even more. Leo thought she was being rather dual at the moment, didn't she just say that she found the belief of vampires sort of silly? He gave Bazz a bit of a look, what had he told this girl? "A question: Do you or do you not believe in these so called Vampires? And if you do, how would you describe your view of them?" he said with a smile, then glanced at Bazz again. At the question of memories Leo watched Bazz quite intensely, but he gave no answer. Leo could think of many, but they were all very personal...to say the least. "There's a lot of stuff going on behind the stage" he just said with a seemingly sad smile. He was after all not that Leo any more...

Simone looked a bit surprised at Leo and then laughed. "Me? Uhm, no. I don't." She shook her head smiling. "No offense to Balthazar, but I don't believe in that many things that aren't... Proven."

Balthazar raised an meaning eyebrow at Leo, and then looked at Simone. "Yeah, but what if it were proven?" To Leo's comment on stuff that was going on behind the stage, he just smirked, although he could see Leo wasn't too happy about it.

He smiled with a certain cold as she laughed, and gave Bazz a mere wink. "Yes, what would you require in the way of proof in order to believe in vampires" This could become a lot of fun... but then again, maybe it wasn't such a good idea.

"If it was, I suppose I will have to fold in my conviction and admit that you were right." Simone threw a glance at Leo with a tight smile. Man, this guy was sort of a jerk - it was actually sort of disappointing. "Well for one, an actual vampire would be a good start."

Balthazar could feel a tension between Simone and Leo. Well... From Simone anyway, but he chose to ignore it. For a second time since he met Simone he now seriously considered actually telling her about vampires. But he could not make the decision. It could go so terribly wrong. So he did what he did best. Kept quiet. He only asked: "But how would you know it really was a vampire?"

Leo raised enthusiasm staggered a bit as she gave him 'that' look and he left the rest to Bazz, whom successfully uttered Leo's thoughts quite well, which brought back the smile to his lips. He nodded slightly and gave Bazz a look before once again looking at Simone for an answer.

"If vampires exist there must be some quite distinct physiological differences from humans, so I'm sure it should be possible to find a nice example if so was the case." Her smile was as fixed as usual, and didn't seem to go anywhere. "A case of spntaneous combustion as a result of sunlight, perhaps?" Okay, maybe she shouldn't be rude to Leo, even though he was obviously making himself funny on her expense in some unknown way.

Balthazar smiled at the fact that she actually couldn't find that nice example, even if it was staring at her. He chose to ignore her last comment, and for some strange reason felt like it was directed to Leo anyway. "So, the pale skin, the fangs?" He was just stating the obvious to make her think.

Leo nodded at Bazz answer and then leaned a bit towards Simone. "So you don't think that these vampires can be smart enough to avoid sunlight etc? Considering how cities today are constructed with the subways, it wouldn't be all that hard for them to move around, even in broad day light. Or perhaps they just wait until night? I know several people who wont get out of bed until the afternoon, does that mean that I should suspect them of being vampires?" He felt a bit like he was suffocating her with words, but what ever. He leaned back again and smirked just a little bit.

"It was an example of physiological differences, not an ultimatum. And if the tube and night active people are your proof, I'm just going to rest my case right here. By that logic goblins might just exist. After all, I've never even heard of a sighting, so obviously they're clever enough to hide their existance from me and everyone else." It was a good thing that she enjoyed Balthazar's company, because Leo was helping the whole "believes in vampires"-deal get less cute and more annoying.
"Pale skin and fangs hardly works as a telltale either. Since that's pretty much every goth from here to Sydney. Inclusing myself in grade school and well... You. Sure, it's by definition impossible to prove that something doesn't exist, but that you can't prove it doesn't mean it does."

Balthazar listened with interest as Simone spoke, but in pure Balthazar-style, he only answered her with: "Would a person without a heartbeat prove it?" He was feeling like she was talking Balthazar and Leo out of existence. They were indeed quite real, but could they really prove it?

Leo rolled his eyes for a bit and felt like saying a lot add a lot more silly things to her list. But he rested his case for now and left it to Bazz once again since Simone didn't seem to like his way of thinking. Bazz question was rather smashing though and Leo smiled a little at it.
