He stepped off, slightly behind the others and his mind left behind as well. As Bazz talked to him he lifted his gaze and looked rather confused. A thought struck his mind "am I ever serious?". Perhaps he said it quietly to himself, he didn't know really. Then his focus turned to Bazz. "About the band, or what?" he said with a blunt expression on his face.

"Probably about the band." She told Leo, then continuing in a more general fashion. "In my experience, he always manages to keep a strange balance of not being serious enough and being way to serious most of the time." She got up her card again and left the tube station.

Balthazar got up his card and registered it again, leaving the station, and turned to Leo again, after Jean had left her comment, which he totally agreed upon. "Yes, about the band."

Leo looked at Jean with his jaw slightly dropping. He made a few sounds, but nothing really seemed to want to become a real word. Just a bunch of "uh, uhm, hmm" then he sighed. He couldn't even understand if what she just had said was a good or bad thing. He mad a casual jump and then continued walking with them like it couldn't be any more normal. "Yes, well, I would like to join, and I think Jean should do so too" he looked at her, hoping for some will to cooperate

"I thought you would wait with the pitch until we got home." She waited for both of them to be with her before leading the way.

"Well..." He didn't really know what to say. He missed the old times so bad, that he just wanted to jump up and down shouting 'Yes! Yes! Yes!'. But at the same time, he knew there were a big risk in taking them in. "Of course you are very welcome. Just as long as you get along, and won't break up the band again. And I suppose that's nothing you can ensure. "

Leo gave Jean a glare, wasn't it obvious with all this talk of money and boredome, arriving at the audition and everything? He didn't feel like arguing though and kept it to himself. Bazz comment was something that he hadn't actually expected. Sure, he had Jean had caused the breakup, sort of, but it's not like he could turn into a vampire a second time or anything. "I think we have left most of our problems behind us now, right Jean?" He said, slightly cautious.

"As long as you don't go nuts again, I'm fine." Okay, not completely. It's not every day your best friend tries to kill you, but she wasn't about to even admit to herself how upset she had been and probably still would be if she just stopped long enough to feel it.

"Mhm?" Balthazar just mumbled, not convinced. He was actually quite sure they would have their fights now and then if they had to spend that much time together again. Everybody would really, it was just one of those things one could not prevent living that close together. But would it be enough to break up the band again? Right now, Balthazar would say yes.

Leo nodded with an excusing smile. "I'll try to become more mature, it'll probably still come with age. Right Bazz?" He said with a hopeful but slightly sad smile. He was still damn scared of aging-notaging, that whole time thing. But at least he hoped that his mind would age, somehow.

"Don't worry, kiddo. I'll age enough for the both of us." She told him and once out of the station she again lit another cigarette. Damn she did feel old. Might just be the hang over though.

Balthazar leaned his head to one side, raised an eyebrow and looked meaningly at Leo. "What do you think?" He just wanted to fuck with Leo's mind a bit. Of course one matures, living that long. Too much sometimes actually, one had to make sure to have one's childish mind still, and Balthazar thought he had done a great job at that.

The both demi-sour answers made Leo break out in a nervous laugh. "You guys! I'm happy to have you around, you've always kept an eye on me". He grabbed them both in a fast and friendly hug.

Jean gave slight grimace but still didn't shrug him off. "You never did give us much of another option. Or maybe I'm getting so old so fast that my biological clock is going off."

Balthazar was startled, but too, did not shrug him off, and he did not say anything. He just patted Leo's back in a very non-Leo like way, and grunted.
