Leo smirked as he stood behind the curtains of the stage. He had sneaked in while the last band were playing and Bazz had his focus on them. Guessing from the long day of auditions, Bazz must have been pretty god damn tired. Leo watched him as he packed he talked to the last band. As silent as possible, he grabbed the guitar that had been placed on stage, in case somebody hadn't been able to bring their own gear. He switched the speaker on with a slight buzz and smiled, sliding his nails across a few strings, making the throbbing sound that he adored. After that he started playing a familiar tune of the band rather fiercely, slightly wondering just how many times bazz had heard it today. But then again, it is said that every musician plays in his own way with small variations, thus is why a computer can't make music. He thought of it as he looked up at Bazz from his little hideout behind the curtains.

Jean had realized Leo was planning on making an ass out of himself and as she heard the song that started to play (which she felt as if she'd heard about a hundred times already since she got there), Jean knew that she had in fact been right - but after all that was one of the reasons she had agreed to come. Figuring Baz would be busy now (attention hogging was sort of Leo's special skill after all) the woman sneaked in to see as it all unfolded.
She had no intention of embarrassing herself by auditioning too however, her style had hardly changed enough since she dropped out for there to be any need to anyway and so she just stood there watching from her spot by the door.

Balthazar raised his hand to the band that played "Thanks" He shouted and made them stop right in the middle of the song. He had heard enough, and he was tired. The band went of the stage, and Balthazar got out of his chair to meet them half way. He stood with the back against the stage, talking to the members, telling them that he wasn't looking for a whole band, but he would consider them individually, and contact them later. Some of the members got up on the stage to get what was theirs, and some stayed to try to talk to the tired Bazz that only nodded, and gave them hints to get the hell out of there. He was starting to get angry, and raising his voice, when he heard someone start to play the song they just had played again. He turned around shouting "I said, thanks! Now get the hell out of here!" Two assistants got up on the stage, ushering the boys off. As the guitar kept playing, Balthazar raised an eyebrow and got up on the stage. He didn't have to go far to see how it was playing. In his remaining anger he shouted at Leo. "Leo, what the fuck?!" But of course, he could't stay angry, and a smirk started appear on his lips.

Leo stoped playing as the verse reached its end and he giggled as he walked out on stage with the guitarr still hanging from his shoulder. He hadn't heard Bazz angry in... well it seemed like forever, but sometime long ago he had heard it. "Oh what a warm welcome you're giving me, old man" he smiled and plucked a bit on the strings without difficulty. As his eyes found Jean he aimed the guitars head at her plucking a bit more fiercely. "Come on girl, I know you want to come out and play" he said with a smile and then gave bazz a wink.

"I must have gotten old and arrogant, because I plain refuse to follow those guys. Sorry." Jean said it with a smile though - if not exactly a friendly happy-go-love one. If they were still there to hear her or not, she didn't bother to check. She must have grown mean too, besides having acquired those earlier mentioned traits.

Balthazar smiled as he heard the famous leo-giggle. He felt like walking over and giving him a very manly pat on the shoulder, but he did not move, and he did not answer him. As Leo pointed the guitar towards the door, he turned around and saw Jean standing there. He smiled at her comment and shrugged his shoulders, like that was just so Jean. "What is this? Some kind of intervention? A coup against me? Or have you just missed me that much?" He said this and turned to Leo again with a smirk.

Leo rolled his eyes a bit at Jean and felt like commenting "sorry, i forgot that you're sober", but didn't. He looked at bazz and felt a bit of warmth from his smile, in difference from Jeans. Some how it reminded him of the fights they used to have. Or perhaps he was a bit on the nerve by this hole situation. The atmosphere felt different now that they were together... Mostly his mind was occupied by flashbacks of how it once were, when they left each other. "You know me... I'm not that big on having reasons" He just said, seemingly distant, but trying to keep a smile. The memories were bringing him down but he tried to suppress it. This wasn't a good time for being sad, though there never seemed to be a good time for it. Especially not when you're a fun guy.

Jean decided to actually move up to them as Balthazar questioned their reason for being there, and with a pat on Leo's shoulder she repeated. "Yea, you know Leo..." Cue smirk. "So I'm just going to blame him. I'm also not admitting to anything." Even though the situation made it hard not realize that she'd actually missed them both. Somewhat. Maybe.

"Yeah, that's true." Was Balthazar's response to Leo's explanation. He was so stunned, and tired, that he did not know what to say. They were all here, well, except for Ice. Almost everyone were here. And he hadn't realize until now how much he actually had missed them. He could almost get over the fact that Leo now was a vampire, and that he and Jean had had their disputes. And that that actually was the reason for the split-up. He looked at Jean as she got up to join them, and he believed every word she said. He knew this was Leo's idea, and that he had almost dragged Jean along.

Leo watched Jean as she moved in closer and felt the warmth of her palm against his shoulder. "You're saying it like it's a bad thing" He smirked and felt his feelings easing down. This was safe some how. His eyes turned to Bazz, looking at him in an almost new light. "Good ol' Bazz" He mumbled in nostalgia and gave him a hug, the huggy kind, not the manly kind. "You look tired" He said with a sense of empathy and then added with a sneaky smile. "Have they beaten you halfway to death with their bad music?"

"Who can blame him, I've only been here a short while and I already want to put my head in an oven. One would think they could at least slaughter their own damn music." Jean shook her head in regret, letting the man next to her stand for all the hugging as long as she was sober/hung over. "I really didn't think you were so hot for publicity that you'd live through this." That was the sort of idea she'd expect from... Well... Leo.

Bazz hugged Leo back, closing his eyes. It still felt odd to hug this vampire Leo, and he probably wouldn't get used to it. The lack of heartbeat and heat was just the greatest loss. He let go of Leo and opened hie eyes again. "Yes I am. I am really tired. And if it wasn't so long time ago I fed, I'd probably bleed through my ears!" He looked at Jean as he realized perhaps she hadn't gotten used to it all yet, although she probably had. And the fact that he almost told her that he was starving couldn't have made it better. That was usually not stuff he would announce when they played together. "No, me neither. I naively didn't think it would be this much."

"Yes, one might think that they would play their own music to better promote them selves.." He added to Jeans line. Leo made a face similar to the one of teenager when their panters accidentally mention sex. He hadn't spent much time with other vampires and wasn't very used to the thought of speaking of their needs and such. Afterwards he covered it up with a giggle as bazz talked of his poor bleeding ears. He looked at him amused. "Just admit it, you were lazy and didn't feel like talking to people"

No, truth was Jean wasn't at all comfortable with him discussing the need of drinking blood. In fact, the entire concept made her both tired and slightly grossed out, at least now. Back in the day she had never cared too much, but she had gotten quite a personal dislike for the vampire nature since Leo joined their ranks.
But she did her best to not show her inner reaction and rather answered to the non-vampire-related part of what the older of the two had said. "That's about as bright as believing that most of the people that listened to our music was twenty-somethings with great taste in both music and liquor." Cider. What a bunch of pussies. "Apparently our cynicism has been both missed and needed, Leo."

Balthazar could slightly feel a discomfort, from both Leo and Jean, when he mentioned his need to feed. He guessed he really was old, because it was some time ago that was something he thought one did not talk about. Now it was just like some human saying she was hungry. But he should try to remember that. He just shrugged his shoulders at Leo's comment, but reacted differently to Jean's. "Hey!" He said with a smirk. "We were not that bad! But yeah, I should need some of your cynicism..." He sighed.
