Leo listened, though he didn't really know what to listen for. This wasn't really his thing, but at least he could try to act like he actually knew what he has doing. The thought of how silly this might look in Jeans eyes made him smile, though he resisted the thought of dropping some stupid commentary on what he imagined himself hearing. "Good" he just said and took place behind Bazz, ready to go in, not feeling very heroic.

Leo was right, it did not only look silly to Jean, it looked outright retarded. She didn't even make as much as an effort to try and hide that this was how she felt either. "Can we just go in and get this over with? You'll get to be plenty macho if there's actually someone in there." Since in her eyes, it really seemed like that was what they were doing. At least the younger of them, you never knew with Baz.

Sarah took the keys out of her pocket on her jacket, and laid them in Baz' hand. Not really knowing what was expected of her next, she shrugged her shoulders. "Satisfied?"

Balthazar took the keys and walked over to the door without answering her. He put the keys in the lock and unlocked the door still trying to sense any vampires in the building. When door was wide open, he turned back to Sarah. "You may now fuck off."

Leo sighed slightly at Jeans remark but still smiled a little bit, this sure was macho. But then again, it's not like nothing had happened. He thought of if Sarah could be used as a (un)human shield but supposed that perhaps it was a bit over the top. But then again... Then Bazz told her to fuck off and Leo shrugged it off. Instead he gave Sarah a glance and then took a step to the side to let her pass. His eyes followed her, still wondering if she would have enough strength in her body to strike at him.

As Balthazar told her to fuck off, she did not waste a second, and walked past Leo as he stepped to the side, giving him a sour look, but did not stop. She walked steadily past him, and kept walking, expecting a stab at her back at any second, but she would not glance back. She would not.

Leo kept watching Sarah while she staggered away and sighed with relief. This was after all the second time he met her and it didn't seem to get any easier. On the other side this would hopefully also be the last time. The thought of killing her crossed his mind one last time, but Jean wouldn't like it and he didn't feel angry enough. He shrugged every so slightly, so that Jean wouldn't loose balance. Then he turned his attention to Bazz and the open door.

Balthazar did not look back to watch Sarah leave. He took a testing step into the club, and as he felt more secure, he went farther and farther in, almost having forgotten Leo and Jean. He was so focused on trying to sense other vampires. He took a look around and noticed there was only on other door, straight in front of him, so he just kept on walking towards it.

Leo kept walking behind Bazz, taking it slow so that Jean could walk as well. He thought of if it was best to let her sit somewhere, but then again, he didn't want to leave her alone.

"Okay, now that imminent death isn't hanging over our heads... What exactly are we doing here?" No more appreciative with this entire situation than before, Jean actually was on the brink of sounding whiny. Maybe because they were walking around in a dark room and she was getting this feeling Leo probably enjoyed playing the protector (something she liked even less).

When Jean spoke, Balthazar turned his head towards them for a second without answering Jean, and kept walking. He reached the door, and tried to open it, but it was locked. He took up the keys Sarah had handed to him, again, and searched for the right key. When he had found it he opened the door with a creak. Now even Jean would be able to hear the humans down there. He counted the heartbeats he could hear, and there were about five of them.

The comment became just a little bit too much and he gently placed her by a wall so that she could lean on it. The vague sound of hearbeats had reached him as well and he slowly walked up beside Bazz, smelling the air from the open door, it wasn't very pleasant. "So, what's your plan for not making them panic and believe that we're customers?"

Balthazar could also sense the smell. How small was it down there? At Leo's comment he stopped and looked at him. He hadn't really thought about that. He gave Jean a glance, but realized she was too weak still. "I have had a good amount of blood tonight. I think I could be taken for a human, even by them." He tried to convince himself, but he didn't truly think he could. "Right?" He looked at Jean for confirmation.

Jean leaned against the wall with one hand, just to make sure she didn't lose her balance. "How the hell should I know, to me you just look like you always do." Putting together one and one, she thought she sort of knew what was going on. "I'll go, if I can't pass for human I'll be pretty insulted."

Leo raised an eyebrow since he didn't think she'd care about them at all. He gave Bazz a questioning gaze, but stepped aside to let her pass.
