Balthazar rolled his eyes. 'Oh great' he thought as Simone got all kind and protective. He stood up as Isola talked to him. "Oh, great, you're awake." He muttered sarcastically, not really in the mood for a drunk Isola. And he suspected that she wouldn't be so very kind to him. Not after last time, and not after her comment to him now.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Simone." She assumed that Alien was a nickname of a friend of hers. "Call me paranoid, but pretty bad things can happen to us young people when we're out alone at night, so I'm sorry if I'm acting a bit nutty." Simone did sense some tension between the two and looked up to Balthazar. "I'm just saying that the right thing to do is to keep her company until her friend comes back."

"It's nice to meet you too, Simone. " Isola was used to weird people and the really weird ones couldn't harm a fly, even if they tried to. It was the normal ones that were the real psychos, they were the ones that raped and robbed. Luckily for Isola they didn't want a dirty, poor homeless girl, and as far as they knew homeless people were full of diseases, so she had nothing they could possibly want. First she looked at Simone and then at Balthazar. He almost seemed a bit offended over what Isola said, it wasn't meant to sound so rude, just enough to be left alone. Isola got up on her feet, altought it was a bit shaky, and shrugged her shoulders to Simone: "I don't think Alien is coming back for a while." Turning towards Balthazar, giving him a playfull look and said in the nicest voice possible. "So you two can continue with your rose-smelling."

What Isola said made no sense to Balthazar, but he just waved it off as drunk talk. "Simone's got a rose here with her, so I think we'll be fine. But if you really want us gone, we'll go." He turned to Simone, and did not think she agreed with him.

Simone looked quite doubtful. "I don't know, I'm not going to follow you around against your will..." Stalking was illegal after all. "But I'm not exactly comfortable with this."

"Well, then stay.. I don't mind." She smiled wide and innocent but inside Isola felt a bit mischievous. Actually she wanted to have some fun with Balthazar, to mess with his head and yet Isola wanted to thank him for caring enough to see if she was allright, altough she thought it was mostly Simone that cared.

"Okay, we'll stay." He smiled slightly at Simone and sat down beside Isola on the damp grass. He wasn't too happy about this, but he wouldn't just leave Simone here, and he figured she would have stayed.

As Balthazar sat down, Simone went from crouching to sitting position. They didn't have to stay all night, just long enough to be sure she would be safe. "What instrument do you play?" She then asked Isola.

"In fact I am a violinist, not very good but it is good enough for street music." Isola Balthazar gave a knowing glance, she hadn't meant that she was not good enough for his band, more that it was enough to give her a few extra pennies from time to time. Actually, she was very good, though Isola herself would never admitt it. But to be homeless was hardly something that inspired confidence among employers. The red bag Isola always had with her was at her feet and she started looking through it for the violin. "Shall I play something for you?"

Balthazar looked back at Isola, and gave her an understanding look back. He knew what she meant. He knew she was better than that. To her question he just shrugged slightly, and looked at Simone, if she wanted to hear something.

"Oh, like Balthazar?" She asked with a smile. "Well, if you want to, sure. To be honest though, I will be impressed as long as you can make any sounds that doesn't sound like a dying cat." It was true, if there was something she had noticed throughout the years was that when you couldn't do anything yourself, most people that could as much as make it sound decent became impressive.

"All right then." She pulled the violin out of the bag and packed it up from the little bundle it was in. Isola put it between her chin and shoulder and started playing a little melody she herself had composed, a melody which was soft, a bit sad, and romantic. She smiled as she was playing, looked at the two and said: "A little tune for you lovebirds."

Balthazar closed his eyes and laid down on the grass, not worrying about his clothes or his hair. Although he looked completely relaxed, he was very concentrated, on any sound or movement, beyond the tune Isola was playing.

She was about to say that Isola had misunderstood, but decided it didn't much matter, and rather just sat there in silence. After all it seemed rude to talk while someone was playing music. While the other girl played, Simone's mind drifted off to rather mundane matters.

Isola stopped playing and looked at Balthazar and Simone. They seemed absent-minded. "You two may want to be left alone?" A shy smile came across her lips as Isola talked and she felt stupid as they stayed, perhaps they wanted to be alone with each other.
