"If seventy-five percent of the band is getting together to play in front of an audience it counts as a reunion, even if we all wanted to move in together and adopt a puppy." 75 right? Right.
But that led her to another problem with getting the band back together, even if it was just for one night. "Lets start by setting up the base rule of no one sleeping with anyone else, but I suppose there's less of a risk of that now unless you're planning on putting Simone on drums."
Jean actually paused what she was doing, looked deep in thought and added a grave undertone to her voice as she looked up at Baz, seeming almost as if she was going to grab him by the collar to make sure he listened. "Don't let me sleep with anyone. Anyone. Promise me."

"Whoa, whoa, what's all this, no, okey. I won't let you sleep with anyone." Balthazar looked really confused at Jean, holding up his palms as a sign of honesty. "No-one is sleeping with anyone."

"Doesn't matter if you're clueless as to why." As usual. "Just do it if you want to stop this from going down the shitter right away." Not that it was certain not to otherwise, but Baz sticking his head in the sand wasn't going to help. Jean put out the cigarette that had been running out where it was sitting in her mouth. She had been young and full out mentally retarded when she thought that the rule of keeping relations outside the band didn't apply to them.

"I'll get you one of those chastity belts. I'm not going to babysit you though." It wasn't all on him if they went and slept around.

"Your funeral." Jean's drunken mind and her sober one didn't always see eye to eye on everything. To stop drinking would just be way too drastic though, obviously. "We should get you a pair of those blinders that they put on horses. Save you the trouble." Jean's sober mind had other obvious issues, that much was clear at least. Yet another good argument to not stop drinking.

Baz didn't really like this sober Jean, but didn't say something about it. He was not in the mood for any argument right now. He ignored Jean's comment. "So I can count you in?"

"Pretty sure I already said so." Jean told him, expecting him to disappear now that he got what he came for. "Ring me up with the specifics when you have gotten a drummer." Unless he and Leo managed to get into a fight again before that.

"I just wanted to make sure." He didn't feel very welcome here, so he decided to just leave, leaving Jean to her better half. "I will. I'll leave you to it now." He made a gesture to the bass and headed to the door.

Unexpected. Jean gave a nod and let Baz find his own way out. Shouldn't be so hard seeing as how her home had three rooms and a kitchen and she had this faint memory of actually getting lost at Baz's apartment at some point.

Baz nodded back as he left, and didn't call her until a few days later. Asking her to meet him and Leo at his place, although they hadn't found a drummer.
