Simone had to clear her throat before being able to go on, but changed the subject once she had collected herself.
"In that case, we should discuss my pay before moving any further. We never settled on a number."
She hadn't heard any kind of number actually, but this seemed like the time to bring it up.

"It will be reasonable, don't worry about that."
She kept looking at some of the papers, a bit absent-mindedly, not really knowing where to begin.

"Your reasonable might not be my reasonable."
Simone insisted, although it wasn't exactly easy pushing for it. Doing this for a horrible pay would be worse than just standing up for herself in this case though.
"If we settle on a sum that we both agree to, it is out of the way, and I can take care of this. You don't even have to bother with it if you don't want to."

"Will 650 a week be enough for you?"
She asked as if there were no question about it.
"I can give you this weeks pay in advance for you now if you want to."

She was pretty surprised by the fact that Sarah didn't seem to try to cheap out, and she wondered if she still dared to try and raise the number without risking making her angry.
"It would be fine."
She said, obviously chickening out.
"I would need to know some things before I can continue though, an estimate of how many people would be using your service and so on... I made a list."
And so the list was whipped out.
"If you could just email me your answers that would be great. My address is at the bottom."

Sarah was happy Simone didn't wanted more, because she couldn't really afford much more right now, but it would be fine when the club opened.
She looked at the list.
"Sure. And just email me your details and I'll get you that money."

She still needed to look some things up though.
"Do you need me to do anything right away?"

Simone asked her, before getting reminded of something.
"Maybe I should get Tom's number or something. He is pretty much the only person I know that would go through this stuff willingly, so maybe he could help me?"

"No, there isn't much left to do."
Sarah wrote down Tom's number on the corner of the paper with the list, tor it off and gave it to Simone.
"That's a good idea. He probably wouldn't mind helping you."
And perhaps he could get Balthazar out of her mind, who knows. One could hope anyway.

She said as she accepted the note. It was sort of a creepy favor to ask of someone.

"Billboards in questionable places, vampire communities, craigslist... Pretty much everywhere I though I might find crazy enough people. The internet was utilized."
Simone put the phone number in her pocket, herself surprised she had gotten such a response.
She had really just advertised everywhere to be certain to find someone.
"Turns out, a lot of goths wants to live in London."

She made a gesture towards the papers.

"Not just. But what kind of people do you think wants to be sucked on the neck willingly by strangers?"
Simone didn't seem to think it was all that sane.
"I wouldn't even have gone for that when I was a teenager and dressed exclusively in black."
