Name: Balthazar Nightingale
Gender: Male
Race: Vampire
Age: 23/204
"Free" application:
Appearance: Balthazar stands 6"5 tall and has a rather thin and wiry body. His hair is dark brown and goes down just past his shoulders in soft waves. Eyes are mostly gray, with a hint of green.
History: Balthazar was born in 1806 into a wealthy family and was brought up mostly around London, but also other places around the country where his family owned more or less large estates.
As every other boy that could afford it, Balthazar got the best education his family could give him and his older brother. French, Latin, Mathematics, Religion, you name it. These were all good, but Balthazar's favorite was learning to play the violin. He wasn't at all a child prodigy, no, he really struggled at first, but with much inspiration and motivation, he got better and better, and soon he was asked to play at various big events and private parties.
And it was after one of these parties he was found by a vampire, James.
Waiting for the coach to take him home, the vampire approached Balthazar. They entered the coach together, and it was in there Balthazar got turned.
Balthazar soon accepted his fate, and it didn't take long for him to actually enjoy it. The only thing that bothered him was that he couldn't see his family any more.
He lived with the vampire for some years in London, and although his maker wanted him to play the violin, Balthazar refused. He would not play the violin again for almost two hundred years. It was when he finally took up his violin again that he decided to form the band Angels at Night. Now that band split up, and some years has passed, but Balthazar still has this urge...
Personality: One could say that Balthazar is quite calm, perhaps a little boring, but do not cross him, or your head will be all over the asphalt. Why don't you RP with him to find out more?
RP sample:
Since I am God, I do not have to make an RP sample to... well... accept... myself. But I will make one just so you'll have an example
It had been some time ago that Balthazar had been out of town, out of London. He had not had any reason to leave until now.
It was 150 years ago his older brother had died, and Balthazar wanted to pay his respect by visiting his grave, that for some reason was in a small town in Scotland.
When Balthazar just had become a vampire, his brother, Edward, was the one he missed the most. Of course he missed his parents, but he and Edward had had some special connection, and to never be able to see him again, was heartbreaking.
Balthazar entered the black car that would take him to the train station. Of course he could just run there, all the way to Scotland, but after becoming a face that people recognized on the streets, he rarely did anything of that kind anymore, just in case. Besides, he loved to go by train. The motion of it.
When the car stopped just outside the station, the chauffeur opened the door to Balthazar that stepped out. The nights attire were plain black trousers, a black shirt, and a black velvet coat. His hair was lose and on his feet he wore black leather Oxford shoes.
"Thank you, John."
Balthazar said to the chauffeur and headed in to the train station.
