Simone actually went quiet for a short while, and you could practically see the inner conflict.
On one side she really needed a job, on the other it didn't seem like the most ethical of jobs.
But it was probably more ethical than not keeping an eye on what was going on.
"I would consider it, but then you need to stop hitting people."
Unless they liked that sort of thing, she supposed.

Isola raised her head from the table and looked skeptically at Sarah, not even she thought Sarah would keep that promise. But it felt a little bit better that Simone was at her side, or on human side.

She really hoped so anyway, or she would lose some of the hope she had for humanity.

She rolled her eyes at Tom and instead raised an eyebrow at SImone's attempt to make Sarah more humane.

Sarah didn't have to worry that Isola was going rat her out, she had no one to tell and even if she did, who would be able to do anything against a vampire.
God, she could use a drink right now.. and rope, or like a knife. Maybe some sleeping pills to go with that drink.
Isola rested her head on her arms again, combing her hair forward and covering her face with it in an attempt to disappear.
