Fickle

[Leo]

Leo smiled ever so swiftly and then sighed again.
"Why would you want to know? Really...?"

[Jean]

"Because I want to talk to you. Tell me where you are or you get to talk to Baz yourself."

[Leo]

"What?! Why would he want to talk to me, why do you want to talk to me? I'm an obvious pain in the ass, so why don't you just leave me alone?" he said, slightly gritting his teeth. He was tired of being treated like some kid that nobody wanted to look after.

[Jean]

She was going to say it, it was going to hurt, but she was going to say it. "Because we're friends, and that's what friends do. Even when you're being a pain in the ass."

[Leo]

Firt Leo grunted, almost laughing he opened his mouth to say something but then he seemed to lose that smug smile of his.
"Why haven't you given up on me already?" He tried to hide a sad tone in his voice, but it got thru a little bit.

[Jean]

She couldn't even answer that question to herself. "Call me stupid. So are you going to tell me where you are?"

[Leo]

"No..." he just said blandly.
"Can you tell Isola I'm sorry about all this? I simply didn't want to stay since I was just bothering you guys anyway. I hope she likes the apartment though" he said the last part with a little smile.

[Jean]

Isola? Oh yea, the girl in the apartment. "I'm not here to deliver your messages." Actually she was pretty annoyed by the request. "I suppose that's the last nail in the coffin of our band then. Have fun running. Again." Jean hung up, she hadn't really called him to plead and beg. It would be his problem if no one was waiting when he came to his senses next time.

[Leo]

Leo rolled his eyes a little bit and wasn't very surprised when she hung up. Though it did sting a little bit he still didn't confess to himself that it made him sad and that he missed them.

[Jean]

Jean was getting very tired of this. Just standing there thinking for a while, she soon after called Balthazar instead.

[Balthazar]

Balthazar was on his way to a gig to check out a drummer he had heard was good. After all, that was the way he had found the members to Angels at Night, and that had worked pretty well considering.
He felt a vibration in his coat pocket, and soon after the phone rang. He picked it up and answered without checking who it was.
"Balthazar."

[Jean]

"Leo is missing, he has moved from his apartment." She was a musician and not an actor, but she did her best to sound worried rather than epically annoyed. "He answered his phone, but won't tell me where he is. Baz, I think he is in trouble. I don't know what to do."

[Balthazar]

Balthazar stopped dead as he heard a worried Jean saying Leo was missing. If Jean was worried about a missing Leo, it had to be serious.
"What do you...? What did he say?"

[Jean]

"He said he couldn't tell me where he is, he sounded stressed out. Maybe I'm crazy, but I just got this feeling that he's in danger, maybe Sarah came back." Wow, all that late night TV was finally paying off, wasn't it?

[Balthazar]

Balthazar's first and second thought was that Leo just didn't wanted to be found, and just fucked with Jean. But the third thought that he actually might be in danger got a hold, and Balthazar actually got a bit scared when Jean mentioned Sarah, and angry.
"I'll... I'll try to find him OK?"
