Fickle

[Leo]

Leo had his nonchalance on and raised an eyebrow to Bazz invitation to 'talk'.
"Yes, I'd love to get out of here" he said, with slight irony, but kept smiling.
"Any suggestions?" He looked at Isola, who seemed quite confused. Poor little human.
For a moment he thought of how confusing it must be for her to move in this world after the things she had seen. But on the other hand, wasn't it a bit like that for him as well, once upon a time? He couldn't remember...

[Balthazar]

"I know you would."
Balthazar simply commented, and waited for Isola to answer Leo's question.
Balthazar thoughts were not at all like Leo's. He had no thought to how this had affected Isola, since, to him, it seemed she showed nothing to suggest she was.

[Isola]

Still with her hand in the hair, Isola looked confused at Leo and shrugged.
Did they want her to come with? Why?
She might as well follow them since she didn't really have anything else to do..
"I don't know, where ever you wanna go.."

[Leo]

Leo thought about it for a moment and then remembered the kid and his new home, which was without a guardian currently. This more or less got him out of the nonchy mood since he got worried.
"We should be heading back to my...uhm...new place" it felt a bit strange to say that, and to take Isola there...But if she wanted to come...?

[Balthazar]

Balthazar listened to Leo's suggestion and nodded. He knew of course why he wanted to go back, and he also wondered why he felt so strongly for that boy, but just guessed it was one of Leo's strange things.
"Sure, that'll be fine for me."
He looked questioningly at Isola.

[Leo]

"Good" Leo simply said and started marching out of this godforsaken place.

[Isola]

Isola shifted her eyes between the two as they were talking, then turned to Balthazar as Leo began walking out of the bar and gave him a questioning look back.

[Balthazar]

Balthazar looked at Isola before following Leo. She looked very confused, bu he did not blame her. Leo was strange, and it took some time to just get used to that.
"I'm sure he won't bite."
He said, comforting, with no pun intended. He did just assume she knew where Leo had went, where he had moved to.
Balthazar put a hand on her back and gestured for her to walk first.

[Isola]

"That's not what I'm worried about."
Isola smiled and began walking towards the exit when Balthazar gestured her to go first.
"Where are we going?"

[Balthazar]

Balthazar followed beside Isola to the exit and then answered her:
"We are going to Leo's new place. You know... Sarah's place?"

[Isola]

Isola was already outside the club when she came to a complete halt.
"Oh shit! I can't go with you guys.. I.. I gotta give my cat some.. ehm.. cat food." she stuttered while avoiding eye contact again, thinking about running away from them.. It was a lie, Isola didn't have a cat, but they didn't know that.

[Leo]

Leo was already a bit ahead of them and stopped to see what was going on. He hadn't paid enough attention to hear Isola's excuse and merely shouted.
"Come on you guys!"

[Balthazar]

Balthazar could see right through Isola's lie. Perhaps she had a cat, but she just wanted to get away, it was obvious.
"You have no cat to feed. Why do you want to get away so desperately? Is it Leo or Sarah's place?"
He wanted a straight answer so he asked a straight question.

[Isola]

Isola looked surprised at Balthazar. How did he know, was she really that bad at lying?
"It's mostly Sarah's place.."
She said quietly with her gaze turned towards the ground and adjusting her hair to hide the bitemarks she had on her neck, as if she was ashamed of them.

[Balthazar]

Balthazar shrugged his shoulders.
"We'll let Leo go see to his boy, and then we can go somewhere else. Now come."
He began walking to Leo.
